Luckily I bought it a couple mins before 10 am when it went on sale. Dunno why it was aval then.

Tenna is a REALLY fun antagonist btw.

I don't understand how the pippins, lancer, and rulescard are in the tv world though, especailly seeing as chapter sets up that they turn to stone when not in their own world on the hub world.

It's a day ending in "Y." Odds are 50/50 it's nothing to do with this game at all and some intern tripped over the internet cable, spilled coffee on a server, or committed a breaking change to production without going through PR first.

It's basically a cross between a Touhou game at its easiest difficulty and Earthbound.
Not as terrible as its haters portray but neither the greatest thing ever that the fans wants you to believe it to be, 10$ is a fair price and the whole experience is not the kind of ultra bland garbage from triple A slopfest games so, even if you hated playing it, you'll be at least capable of remembering and it will make you feel emotions.
You want a better Earthbound inspired RPG? Lisa the painful exists and even Omori, at a certain degree.
You want more bullet hell and actually competent musi and bad graphics? Try Touhou project or better yet another game that doesn't features underage anime girls.
It's a relatively competent jack of all trades between these two genres.
The fandom is (or at least was) a bunch of autistic faggots that deserves to be bullied into suicide, but most of its worst members either migrated to even worse stuff (viziepop) or grew up.

Undertale is fun. It's best when it's all lighthearted and not trying to be meta in some way. Always liked the battle system and at this point does anyone question toby fox's musical composition? never played anything after though

I had no idea it was comparable to a bullet hell game. I have a Viewlix and many of the old CAVE games, so that is somewhat relevant to my interests. I can avoid weird fandoms since this is as close to social media I interact with.

it's a very easy bullet hell, and as long as you avoid the fandom like the plague it is, you'll enjoy yourself. remember that undertale came out 10 years ago, as well, and that a lot of what it did went on to affect the online landscape very heavily.
