I just realized the hilarity that Chapter 5 has Undertale references, the purple soul, and an abundant of enby characters. The weird route, after having more SA undertones also has Kris and Noelle essentially doing a speedrunner's "skip" to chapter 7.

Imagine Toby waking up in a cold sweat after realizing he accidentally made, or let the writers he worked with make Chapter 5 about Shayy.
Considering there were multiple not-well-managed writers, what if the Susie & Noelle strength tester cutscene wasn’t actually Toby saying the relationship is forced and incompatible, but some other writer sneaking it in to say “What is this shit? What are we doing here guys?”
I wonder if Toby intentionally made Noelle to be a potential school shooter, gun-nut, volatile psycho with mood swings, or if that was part of not thinking that far ahead.
