So Blue likely wasn't designed by Toby? Makes sense. Still, the idea of Toby hating gay men so much he'd make their main representative in Deltatroon an uglyass repulsive gaynigger is absolutely hilarious
I mean, maybe he was? There's really no way to tell completely, but it was clear that the flowers you're meant to focus on in this chapter are Aqua, Seth, and Flowery. All of whom have actual connections to actual lightners. The other 4 were basically there to fill a color quota.

I was looking through the weapons, and it's very interesting how Noelle has the ability to equip every Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 sword except the Winglade. (As well as the Black Shard)
[No flavor text is shown when equipping it to Noelle; unused] (Black Shard)
Go, Kris! "1000 Moon Crescent Slash!" Faha! [When attempting to equip it on Noelle; unused] (Woodblade 2)
That's, um, nostalgic. [When equipping it on Noelle; unused] (AquaKnife)
What is this, a barber pole? [When equipping it to Noelle; unused] (JingleSword)
... whose feather is this? [When attempting to equip it to Noelle; unused] (Winglade)
It's obvious that she can't wield the Winglade because it has fucking feathers on it, and she loathes Berdly.
Noelle's ability to wield swords and wear Ribbons kinda gives the game away that she's the Girl with hope crossed on her heart.
Though I'm kinda half-expecting Susie in Chapter 6 to start refusing to wield axes to only use swords instead, if she's really getting prophecyfucked.

What is sword mantle?
chapter-3-spoilers-shadowmantle-secret-boss-guide-v0-rsbh1dsep05f1.webp

"Mantle" is the name of the secret game in Chapter 3 and "Sword" is the name of the little Kris sprite that you control. People sometimes call it the "Sword path", and it's how you get the Shadow Mantle to fight the Knight.

It gives you instructions on how to do the WR in chapter 2 and is presumably how you're supposed to figure out how to do it when playing the game normally, but people figured out exactly how to do the WR years before Ch 3 dropped due to the massive release date gap.

Última edición:
It’s funny that if Blue the Flower was just a normal ballerina woman, people would probably have a better opinion on the Flower’s overall. Blue really does damage their reputation.
The flowers are supposed to be a comedy that slowly turns tragic when you find out the true nature of their existence, they're silly and exagurated because they're finally truly "living" for the first time and last time of their naturally short lives, they're basically children experiencing the world for the first time trying to make the most out of it. Its a story about innocence.

Turning one of them into a gay nigger in a tutu flips the entire thing into a farce because it completely invalidates the innocence aspect, so instead of children being innocent and silly you have a bunch of mongoloid retards being obnoxious.

Aqua only manages to escape from this because she actually looks and talks like a child.

Oh hey look, Susie in Chapter 4, when you befriend Onion-san and then wait about 15 seconds for Onion-san to show up.
* ... Looks like your weird friend is busy today.
* Let's go already.
I'M ONTO YOU YOU GONER GLOWIE BITCH.
AND THEN THE FUCKING NORMAL NPC SHOWS UP IF YOU LEAVE THE SCREEN AND COME BACK.
WHAT, DIDN'T FEEL LIKE PLAYING ROCK SKIPPING WHILE YOUR BIRD BUDDY WAS TEARING ONION-SAN TO SHREDS?!

Also, this is what they call 'foresha-doe-ing':

There's usually one in every chapter poking fun of fans for trying to be engaged.
Most of the early area, the garden section, of the Chapter 5 Dark world feels like a dig at the fans for wanting chapter 1 elements back.
I get why in universe it made sense for Ralsie to be forced into wearing his hat again, but it feels like a dig at anyone wanting hat-ed Ralsie back.
That he used a remake of 'Field of hopes and dreams', now called 'Garden of hopes and dreams', also feels like a dig at the fans.

It's even funnier when you realise that all (most) of the flowers basically represent the opposite of their emotion in one way or another.
I get that you're using the soul colors and their meaning for the flowers. But I think that at this point, it might just be that the soul colors are unrelated to how things are in Deltarune.
Imagine that Undertale never released, or you never heard of Soul colors and their meaning, could you make the same assumption then?
I don't think soul colors have any relation to how things are in the world of Deltarune, that it was an Undertale only thing.
Same for the Determination and Saves. Why would it have to be the same in both universes/games?
Because it's the same guy making the new game?
To me, at this point, so many things people have taken from Undertale and tried applying to Deltarune were proven to be wrong, that I believe it must be a misdirect.
Sure, elements are similar, even the characters are similar. Key word: similar.
So tell me, how many things taken from Undertale were, or are, actually true/accurate in Deltarune?
And specifically, how many, if any, had actual plot relevance?

Anyway. I'm still of the belief that chapter 5 was a setup for the mother of all crashes next chapter.
I believe that Suselle was intentionally a poor ship here, and it will result in either: Noelle and Susie becoming enemies, or a drawn out teenage-relationship spat.
Personally I think they'll become enemies, as Noelle's view of Susie changes, and Susie gets disappointed by Noelles reaction.
I know there is immense doubt of that happening. What with Toby being close with tublerites , but I think it was setup perfectly for exactly that.

Susie and Noelle having only gotten to talking in the past 2 days. They're both ignorant of each others quirks, interests, and I feel like they both have an image of the other that's very wrong. Kris honestly having better chemistry with either of them. Susie having decided that the school closet is now her home, and apparently having decided that Dark worlds are now her new reality.

It makes me wonder, if the prophecy panel Susie broke said something about closing ALL of the fountains, even Castletown, and she just couldn't accept that, which is why she broke the panel and cut her hand. The final scene certainly seems to indicate that she's come to see it as her home, and she might be staking her everything on the fantasy staying there for her.
There's a part of me that's suspecting that Kris might be trying to redirect the prophecy onto Susie, and that the tragedy mentioned might be related to that.

If I turn out to be wrong I'll seethe, but for now I'll just cope with my theory(-ies).

A random thought I just had. If the prophecy forces things to happen, like world rewrite kind of force. Could it turn Susie into a human, or a human-monster hybrid, which is why she bled? Probably not. Just a very out there thought I decided to share, feel free to ignore it.

Oh god, oh fuck, I think Susie might have called in the hit on Onion-san.
So, here's what Onion-san says at the end of the first encounter.
onion.png
Then you show up the next day with Susie in tow?
come alone.png
hell.png
Susie then walks offscreen. This... feels like weird behaviour from Susie, why not at least like, try making a new friend?
Onion-san reveals the song underneath the lake and leaves and then Susie comes back.
Then the next day you visit the lake, Onion-san is missing, and Susie tells you not to bother waiting around (If you hadn't befriended Onion-san, she instead tries some rock skipping, no rush.)
Then obviously NormalNPC shows up if you leave and come back.
Then the next day, Onion-san is being cooked up at the Festival.

I know she's working for THEM. She's a GONER! I... I just can't prove it! Suzy you piece of shit!
Susie sees Onion-san and the next fucking day Onion-san is dead at the hands of gasterglowies.

By the way, has no one pointed out how Aqua is the only one of the 6 flowers to not be monochrome because she has red on her? The red ribbon on her head even looks like a heart. Like how Kris is cyan-coded but has a red soul in him.

Green is... meant to be kindness, but well honestly, Green barely has a character on account of being a mute hunchback goblin who is nice. (Way to ruin the fucking theme)
Green is a bro but she'll cook your shirt the moment you look away and keeps demanding $5 when you're just trying to have a conversation.
