Russia, with the generous assistance of the darned hohols, have invented a new sport: gas station thunderdome. a young lady reports on a contest in Ryazan:

What the fuck the Russians are paying $7.25 per gallon? I thought Russian prices for gasoline has always been cheaper than the US

Never gonna happen. Crimea is putins biggest achievement in life, giving it up means giving up his life. Possibly literally.
Reminder, when Putin was born, Crimea was still officially part of the Russia, he was born in 1952, the transfer to Ukraine was 1954

Remember Russia seized it just 8 days after the 60th anniversary of the Soviet decree transferring Crimea from Russia to Ukraine.

So with gas rationing in Crimea clearly then that means Russia will arrive at the Rhine River next week, trust the plan, the cauldron is boiling, the gloves are coming off etc.
"heh, stupid holhols! I have only use 10% of my power!"
"We are sending our top guy!"

It's kind of funny that Putin is basically eternally bound to sacrifice resources and men for Crimea or else he looses 9 trillion izzat points. Unfortunately I don't think Ukraine will be ever able to get it back but if nothing else it's definitely been a white elephant for Russia.

edit: fuck it, it was a dumb meme anyway

All the same, if you’re a Russian civilian in Crimea right now, you’ve only got what gas is left in your car, no power and there’s barely a bridge and road left out of there, you’d want to be planning a swift exit while you still can.

Can a person familiar with Russia explain why Crimea is such a tourist spot for them? We always hear if it being packed full of Russians on vacation. Is the largest nation on the planet so crappy there's not other tourist spots like St. Petersburg, Moscow or Vladovostok? Surely the other regions adjacent to the Black Sea have beach holiday spots. Whenever I visit Turkey or Korea it's full of Russians too so Its not like they're locked to just that shitty island.

its a holiday spot for similar reasons as Sochi, temperate climate, unique geography and plenty of resorts.

Crimea is unique because it has a bit of everything, history because of the crimean tartars, later the zaporizhian cossacks and the crimean war etc, some decently sized cities with plenty of beach towns
Turkey is also known for having a lot of Russian and Ukrainian tourists for similar reasons.

Another reason is before the war, prices were in general lower in ukraine than they were in russia

Now with Erdogan having completely nuked Turkey's economy more and more people are going to Turkey instead.

So think of Crimea, Turkey and Sochi as what Spain is to the UK and Ireland. Better climate, nice beaches and cheap things + every co-worker and relative of yours recommends you go there and thinks its a cool place to travel to when literally every other person visits it once a year.

Yes, there are many cool places in Russia to visit but if you want a less miserable climate + decent infrastructure and beaches then your options narrow down by a lot.

JSC "Voronezh Semiconductor plant – Assembly" got ACK'd, possibly by a Flamingo:

Sounds like it turned out to be a Storm Shadow, which I feel like I haven't heard a lot about lately.

Also looks like the Ukrainians are dismantling air defence around Kerch. Whether this is business as usual or they're getting ready to fuck up the bridge again who knows but either way, very funny and I'm enjoying the Mad Maxification of fuel delivery.

It should help correct the demographics of that peninsula a bit if a certain portion of Russians leave, with the occupiers having chased even more Tatars away. After that German Tsarina Catherine's forces took Crimea in 1783 from the Crimean Khanate and its suzerain the Sublime Porte and started almost immediately to deport Pontic Greeks and Tatars, Russification has been a policy. The Russian govt has lavishly funded on irrigating a peninsula with limited natural water. The Black Sea Fleet has largely vacated it and it hasn't proven to be a means for Russia to hit at Ukraine by missiles or invasion. Now this is a result of Ukrainian efforts to suppress naval and other military assets there, but the Black Sea fleet never really was that good.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin probably didn't post 'Moscow will burn' and links to donate to the AFU on his Telegram. It was hacked and that was eased by using his birthday as the password. Password security is important. Null keeps telling us that and we, plus Sobyanin, should heed him.

Ukraine is working to break Russian logistics. These creak at the best of time so it offers one of the best chances of forcing another retrenchment of Russian forces. If Russian forces depart from the rest of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, Crimea will be even more besieged. UA Defense Minister Federov announced the anti-logistics efforts in May and hits on logistic targets from trucks to warehouses have quadruped.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine are working to cut off Russia’s logistics, and Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) units are actively operating, particularly in temporarily occupied Crimea, National Guard Commander Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko has said.

"We will increase the number of our pilots at operational depth and destroy much more of Russia’s logistics. The more assets – the better we will do it," Pivnenko said in an exclusive interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency regarding the National Guard’s scaling up of drone control over the skies of Donetsk and Mariupol.

Answering a question in this context regarding the logistics of Russia in Crimea, the NGU commander emphasized: "The USF, Madyar, are working on Crimea. They know well what they are doing. I can only say: push them to the maximum.".....

Reminder in the wake of Keir Starmer's resignation as UK Premier that the attack on his private home was orchestrated by a Russian official. It should also prompt thoughts on the often pro Russian and mysteriously funded (like the £5 million) Nigel Farage.
Two men found guilty of conspiring to carry out arson attacks on property connected to Keir Starmer appear to have operated under the instruction of an online handler with links to Russia.

Roman Lavrynovych, 22, from Ukraine, and Stanislav Carpiuc, 27, from Romania, were found guilty at the Old Bailey on Monday. Another Ukrainian man, Petro Pochynok, 35, was cleared of the same charge.

Lavrynovych was also convicted of damaging two properties by fire, being reckless as to whether life was endangered, on 11 and 12 May last year. He was acquitted of two counts of committing arson with intent to risk life.

During a months-long trial, the jury heard that the three men had been offered payment to set fire to a car and two houses linked to Starmer by a mysterious Russian-speaking figure named El Money, or “Hroshi” in Ukrainian.

Reports in the Financial Times and BBC on Monday suggested that the attacks had been coordinated through Telegram messages from an account with links to a network based in Russia. The BBC reported that a 23-year-old Russian diplomat, Evgeny Lyukshin, had masterminded the attacks.

Russia says Ukraine used new AGM-188 missiles in Voronezh strike
Perhaps okayed when Trump had his usual game with the CIA Director. That's probably a bit more significant than whatever Tulsi Gabbard, eater of Chris Butler's toenails, did in her DNI post. If true, it will mean up to date combat data without the glare of the Iran theater.

It's a good sign when the retards in the other thread are talking about a pride parade in Kiev, instead of fuel purchases being banned from civilians in Crimea.
I don't know why but every time I go in there, it's just a /pol/ colony cesspool only marginally related to the war itself, their discussions often just circle back to how "gay and pozzed" the west is and that's why it's morally justifiable to bomb Ukrainians.

woah, woah, woah. You forgot the one guy who posts like 5 paragraphs and 8 pictures of a battle map showing the massive leaps and bounds the russian offensive is making across Ukraine the loss of many feet of land and the forming of the dreaded culdrooon.
