Ugandan Knuckles has finally hit the MSM with an article in USA Today.

This article also asserts the claim that Ugandan Knuckles is racist. Despite understanding the origin of the meme, it doesn't seem the author understands how VR Chat works. He's calling Ugandan Knuckles racist because of what individual players have chosen to do with the character: clicking sounds, jokes about Ebola, and edits of the original 3D model like the one below.
The author concludes that Ugandan Knuckles is the new Pepe the Frog. And like Pepe, Ugandan Knuckles could be named a hate symbol by the Anti-Defamation League.
