CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people have died and two others have life-threatening injuries following a Tuesday afternoon shooting on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus, according to NBC affiliate WCNC.

Authorities said one person has been taken into custody following the incident, but police continued to sweep campus buildings at 6:45 p.m.

At least two other people were injured, but it was not clear if their injuries were the result of gunshot wounds.

The university's Office of Emergency Management said that shots were reported at about 5:50 p.m. near the Kennedy building on campus.

In the alert, students were told to "run, hide, fight."

If you tune into CNN for news you'll be told that this the fault of the NRA and Trump's Rhetoric (they love the word rhetoric!). On Reddit the shooter was immediately called as being white and Trump supporter. Now that it is known that Trystan is not white, they are still claiming its the NRA's and Trump's fault.
