go to pretty much any trending hashtag and click on "newest first" and the results are usually completely unintelligible bot gibberish.

Funny stuff can sometimes come from twitter, but it's significantly less funny when it's ON twitter. You see something funny and surrounding it on all sides is just unfunny, unrelenting political autism. More and more people I know have quit it entirely and it's turning into a containment zone for the top 5% worst human beings on the planet.
