More than likely, the holidays remind him that he is truly alone. He gets angry at the world for that. No wife, no kids, no sex, most of his friends are probably crap in his eyes, even the good ones. Chris is experiencing cognitive dissonance.

What @Mariposa Electrique said, but I think there's a reason she missed. The lack of free toys he used to get. Watch the 2004 Christmas video. He got a shit ton of Lego and expensive toys. More than a lot of actual children get.
When Bob was alive they could afford gifts like that. Now between their financial situation, and being terrible with money they can't. It's why he posts huge Amazon wish lists every year. He thinks those presents are basically owed to him. He doesn't care he buys dozens of toys a month, he deserves more goddamn it. I think not getting them makes him extra pissy this time of year.
This year add to the fact the merge that he was literally banking on didn't happen. Now he has no toys for Christmas (except the ones he bought himself from his "spouses") and a pile of debts and bills he put off like a rétard.

He thinks Lukas the troon has been possessed by a villain from Hyperdimension Neptunia, and that's why Lukas has been leaking content and talking shit about the Sonichu OC Chris made for her. That said, he also mentioned in his Twitter fit that he thinks Lukas is doing some of this of her own accord.

Totally @Deadpool . Though, toys are just masking Chris'' reality. Now that they're not here, his reactions have gotten worse, and they're obviously difficult to hide. I suspect and hope things will get worse as time goes on as reality can't be avoided. This Christmas was probably bad again just because he was rejected and exposed by little lesbians he thought he could score with.
Jeez, if they were real trolls, they would have found a way to embarrass him in public without any ramifications.
As well, I wonder how things will go this summer. Chris has been banned from TMG, yet he still plans on going. Bronycon is obviously expensive, especially with Barbs's shitter on its last leg.

I think the period around bronycon has the potential to be interesting. You have Chris with his cartoon pony high, clashing with the fact that both Bronycon and whatever the fuck generation of MLP are ending. He's already demanding that the show go on another five years. I can see a possible tantrum when he tells a VA that, and they make the mistake of telling him "nope, we've already started working on next gen MLP."
Then again Chris's reactions are unpredictable, he could always shit himself and do nothing.

I'll be fair, Chris has a lot to be angry about. But a lot of that anger should be directed at himself.
