Most of the old guard is still around. But it looks like they've lost an Australian due to an glitch a few years ago, an dyslexic and another one had vanished. At least 3 or 4 more are still on the roster, but they're inactive. Which is why SeptimusHeap went from their equivalent of an KF supervisor to an full mod and BlueNinja, Nombretado (or whatever the hell her username is), Berrenta (who also polices Bulbapedia and an Super Smash Bros. wiki, but there's hardly anything notable from her over there) were recruited.
Also, FE is still lurking on there under "eyebones."

I miss the "IRL Examples" on many tropes terribly. Wasn't there, at some point, a TV Tropes Youtube channel? I seem to remember looking forward to their first few videos, but their actors were unfortunately uncharismatic.

Only proves how out of touch both sites are. I thought this was a storytelling site, yet it was really necessary to preach to the choir of a site that is now a hollow shell of its former self.
Some of the advice Cracked gives is quite interesting.So when dealing with a threat the only solution is to run away because 'normal' people will never be good at defending themselves with fists.Only 'criminals' know how to punch someone.Sometimes its true running is a solution but to imply or even outright state that its the solution all the time ignores how real life doesn't work like that.If you run away from say a 19-20 year old slim dude while you're well into your late 30's you might discover his speed is a lot higher than yours even moreso if you gave up on losing weight because its just so damn hard.The best advice in such situations is to know how to improvise either run or fight or grovel but there is no one size fits all solution.Also apparently girls don't get any ideas about sex from porn only guys do.
