You can't convince me their Edit Banned thread doesn't have some stupid hardcoded check on the thread ID, since the mods get all pissy about trying to change the name of the thread for fear it would "break things". Bet 10 bucks it's literally just:

(Yes, I know this code is insecure as fuck. That's the point.)

They have an active-duty admin on the site now, so it should be as simple as checking the code to determine if it would break things (not to mention the code would be extremely, extremely shittily written if changing the title value in the database broke the thread). But nah, let's just hide behind the "Eddie's code sucks" shield like we have for almost twenty years.
 
I found this old entry in a cleanup thread where they "discuss" removing perfectly good entries from a South Park page.
