Let this be an ongoing lesson to the forums, even though at this point it's played out a thousand times: if you start desperately posting about how you're totally better than some lolcow, all it's going to do is demonstrate how much like them you are.

Also, this board really needs a forum rule about not engaging with thread targets on Tumblr, even if you think you have a brilliant masterplan to get content, you guys! or whatever. Engaging with Tumblrcows on Tumblr has had two forms so far -- weens posting "kill urself" and such sundry crap via anon ask, and the Dirk Crusade O' The Moment -- and both of them are just fucking embarrassing.

Let's not forget the kiwidirkblood or whatever the fuck Tumblr account he made to try and contact Tumblr cows. All it did was annoy us, get ignored by most cows, and stuck him into CAA's block list. It accomplished fuckall and still he keeps doing it.

I haven't said much because honestly I'm kinda pissed about the OKCupid thing. I wouldn't say Volts and I were chummy buttbuddy type friends, but we spoke often enough on Steam (I even bought them GoatSim and Garry's Mod from their wishlist.) Initially I started chatting with them because of the whole transguy thing and they were apparently getting all this shit about it on Tumblr (I have my trans status disclosed on the site and I've never had an issue though? I honestly don't see much sjw crap on my dash, and I'll see even less of it now that I've unfollowed Volts thank fuck.) So it really steams me that they lied about that. I'm now at the point that I wish I had capped some of our conversations on Steam. They were a whole lot of me trying to be supportive and rational and them half heartedly saying thanks and going back to being a miserable sack of shit.

The one thing that always nagged at the back of my mind was when the whole Vade thing was going down, why Volts didn't just let it go. They would keep instigating shit. I think, like Meowthkip said, Volts is probably addicted to negative attention.

@TheGentlemanScientist are you Dex? I'd be very interested to hear about what went down in the relationship if that is the case.

As someone who was in calls with them using mic and webcam I can confirm that this is a thing they do. Though I assume they might've had other means of "stimming" before, because until late 2013 I never heard them sucking on their fingers over mic.

Volts is a weird case. It's also a reminder of just what a clusterfuck Team Vade is. Once you're there, you seem to be there for life. Almost everyone who has told us about Vade who did not backslide and re-join Team Vade is just as much of a broken fucked-up mess as she is. Tanukurin, bless her, finally moved beyond that, but she went through a fuckton to get there and arguably will never fully be rid of the damage Vade did.

It's horrifying just how much of a spidernest Vade's supporters are. They are, to a man, Tumblr Genderspecials with made-up genders and made-up medical conditions. Amidst them you have mexed-up kids who are essentially victims, like Tanku was (and what Tanku did involving our beloved CatBisquick was pretty fucked up), a painful reminder of just how fucking dangerous Vade's mindset can be.

Vade's lost tons of supporters to our offensive, and indeed, most of Team Vade abandoned her. But we must always bear in mind what else is involved with Vade's madness, and why her allies cling to her so hard. At her apex, Vade was feared. She was powerful. Even when she was in decline, she had these. And then the Farms took that all away.
