Tinned or fresh?
At least 1.
Wait, the cholesterol in tuna is good cholesterol?
yes. A lot of "food science" like bad cholesterol is funded by someone trying to sell you a product. As long as you don't have a medical issue like heart disease, eat as many eggs and as much fatty fish as your daily calorie intake allows for.
Balanced diets are the way to go.

Mayonnaise makes everything taste better.

Just dump a bunch of mayonnaise in a bowl and mix with a bunch of tuna, some finely chopped gherkins and onions. dill, horseradish, and a little brown mustard, plus a dash of balsamic vinegar. Mix thoroughly and taste, add salt if needed.

Put the salad on some toasted rye bread with a couple slices of tomato with S&P and cold Swiss. Tell me that is not the best tuna fish sandwich you've ever had.

Why does that work?
Because drained tuna out of the can has almost no fat, no flavor depth, and nothing to contrast it with. Tuna on its own is healthy but missing key nutritional and flavoring aspects.

Tuna salad is mayonnaise (fat), pickled vegetables (tangy contrast), and seasoning (which brings out meat's flavor). Proper tuna salad is still pretty healthy, you need fat for energy and minerals from the other ingredients. You can add cheese and put it on a bed of lettuce to stay healthy, or put it on bread as long as you don't mind the carbs.

Whether it's from the monotonous flavor, the mercury replacing your blood, or just the sheer volume, I assume it would have to be seven.
The best thing about tuna, now that you mention it, is that its high mercury content will make you vomit blood, but the high magnesium content will make you not upset about it.

Out of the goodness of my heart I will share my polish mom's tuna salad recipe. You will need:
- a can of sweet corn
- a can of red beans (not too fond of them personally but the salad lacks in flavor and texture without it)
- a can of tuna (not in oil)
- some gherkins or cornichons, cubed
- 1 hardboiled egg, diced
- thinly diced or grated garlic, to taste
- some mayo to keep it all together
- some salt and pepper to taste
Drain the beans, drain the corn, drain the tuna, add everything to one bowl, mix it somewhat evenly, eat.
