Tumblr is a horrendous hellsite from the get go, because it echo chambers mental illness to a point that people get angry over everything. You could honestly say the sky is blue and you'll get a bunch of people attacking you, and telling you to check your color vision privilege and how this post is erasing color blind people. Kids go on tumblr looking for acceptance and all they get is being dragged into a crab bucket where one wrong move gets you eviscerated.
Not only is CP a huge problem on tumblr, but also bestiality stuff. There were so many blogs running campaigns to get tumblr to ban some of the more notorious ones, but nothing ever came of it. What would happen is that call out blogs will get deleted instead for 'harassment'. Staff honestly, does not care, and I am so happy to see them getting consequences for it.
Tumblr is a site where pedophiles feel safe because muh oppression so the whole thing can get nuked.
