I'm not campaigning for either one as better or worse than the other, though, just clarifying the differences between Gore in the sense of movies, games, and books, and Gore in the sense of Guro. Since it seemed like there was some confusion.

There is a proven link between loli/shota and real-life sexual harm to children. Sexualised art and images of underage children, particularly cartoons, are used by paedophiles and abusers to groom kids. "Hey look", says the paedo as he sends the kid the images, "it's perfectly normal for kids to be naked in front of adults or to wear these clothes/adopt these poses, it's even in this cute cartoon!" Social Workers and Police Officers in child protection know this and possession of this stuff is an instant red flag for them when doing investigations. The tumblrite argument that it's "just fantasy" is nonsense, as is the idea that paedos can jerk off to this stuff instead of harming real kids - it doesn't work that way. This stuff leads to real kids being really harmed and can't be nuked from orbit fast enough. I'm not sure the same applies to guro or bestiality, there hasn't been as much research.

A friend of mine lost their blog multiple times from it, even without directly posting it. It's become a gag at this point tbh.

Also basically ALL nsfw tags are scrubbed. You can't search for anything (boobs, hentai, ecchi, etc) and the safe search lock is gone. Idk how this will dampen the cp issue since people can still share things freely amongst each other and post on their blogs, and those who follow them can see it so..

As for sjws not doing anything about the reAL cp?
They will bitch, but not do anything. They want to act morally superior without lifting a finger and putting effort and real work into something. They can bitch about ships and call you a pedo for it, but they can log off and go about their day. They are too scared to get wrapped up in anything real. God forbid they have to give a statement or anything!

"Yiff" showed nothing, however when I typed in "peg", two NSFW blogs appeared and disappeared quickly like before. I had to refresh a few times to even confirm that. One tag I found a tad comical was "DP". One blog flashed for that tag, and it was an SFW photography blog, though it disappeared like the rest. Maybe it's old data that shows up for a second? No content shows up for any of this. SFW things like "dog" show many things. I guess a """""""problematic""""""" word like 'breast' or abbreviation like 'DP' is too spicy for tumblr now.

Again, this is all on mobile, and I'm unsure that makes a difference versus desktop...probably not.

i think these fuckers deserve the app taken down from the app store, honestly. that's what they get for not cracking down on child porn on their site. however, i do kinda find it unfair that multiple NSFW artists are getting their shit taken down- there's a line when it comes to porn, and as long as they aren't drawing anything illegal (only drawings of adult characters, none of that gross-ass loli shota shit) and their blog is marked as NSFW 18+, i think it's far from crossing the line.

Tumblr has the right to allow or disallow any content. They're trying to run a legitimate, respectable business when 99% of the content on their site is porn, lunatic genderspecials, pedophile-acceptance, shoplifters and drug addict communities, DD/lg, or worse.

It's going to take a long time for Tumblr to come back from this massive PR catastrophe. Going full Kristalnacht on the porn blogs seems like a reasonable first step to dragging themselves up.
