I just wanna say, I have some very eccentric fetishes. Nobody knows about them. I keep them secret. I look up porn for five minutes, fap to that, and get back to my life. I don't spend the remaining time talking about my fetishes, I spend it doing productive things. Not even my ex knows what kind of weird shit I'm into, because I don't talk about it.

What part of that is so hard for you? What kind of tick do you have that forces you to blert out "hey guys did you know i really like fucking dogs?" Because I can't sympathize.

@Abilene I am most definitely living a happy life. I work at a job I enjoy with people that I love to be around. I have surrounded myself in people with whom I have numerous common interests and that I love and care deeply for. I absolutely love life.

@Hat Unlike the Supreme Court of Canada, I really have no idea just what would be acceptable, though if we use the Canadian Supreme Court ruling as anything to go by, non-penetrative acts are somewhat less immoral. Consult the Bible and you will see a similar thought, though this assumption would be based largely off what the Bible did not care to go into detail about.

@The Fool Well this is an interesting comment. Congrats on your eccentric fetish collection, and I can respect keeping them to yourself. The notion that I go around blaring my fetishes like a megaphone is rather laughable. Like you, I have a life to live. I have duties and responsibilities to fulfill, and while it would be interesting if sexuality could occupy 100% of my waking life, that is very far from how life actually works. Where I imagine we differ is in how open those around us are. I live in a college town and am surrounded by people who are extremely open about sex and sexuality, as such the topic comes up often.

I do not go around yelling, "Hey guys, did you know I really like fucking dogs?" first because that is something I have no experience with, and second because that isn't socially acceptable behavior. It is one thing to have a conversation with people and end up discussing kinks and fetishes because they brought it up, but going around advertising it like a street sign, as you imply, is a completely different animal.

You act as though my job makes me who I am. I work in a restaurant so that you and anyone else can come get a bite to eat when you don't feel like doing if yourself. I provide you a service.

I am more than my job. It is not my job to design cybernetic implants, to create music, or modify the electrical systems in my car. It is not my job to make jewelry from bone, to do electrical work, plumbing, framing, etc. It is not my job to look around the world and scope out where I can apply myself to make it a better place. These things are not in my job description, and yet I do them anyways.

Even were I to be defined completely by my resume, I would be a very well rounded person with experience in enough fields to allow me to easily fit into any job situation. So yes, while preparing the best quality food for people like you is my current job, there is much more on the plate to offer.

So machines take my job, I'm not planning on staying here long anyways. There is always another position for me to step up into. Besides, you think my job is up for grabs? What do you think will happen to coders, engineers, CEOs and the like in a decade or so? If technology progresses the way it seems it will, all jobs will be obsolete.

Not at all. There is much more to life than that. In fact, if I recall correctly, I named quite a few things that don't fall under those categories. If you wish to give constructive criticism, I would gladly take it, but up until this point, the only topics you have named have been "work, and reproduce". There is much more to life than that.

So far my presence in this thread has been to clarify things and to answer some questions you guys had, but if you wish to move this discussion to things that have more substance, be my guest. I will gladly follow.

It all started with a vape mod, a label maker, and a friend at a furry con who wanted to get a laugh. I was in Novi, Michigan attending Motor City Furry Con 2016. A friend of mine had brought along a label maker. At some point, he thought it would be funny to make a "Dog Fucker" label and put in on my vape for all the world to see. Mind you, I really don't give a fuck... Which is part of what got me into this mess.

To show him that I wouldn't be phased, I left it on. Moreover, I played the part on social media. And thus a joke turned into an issue that could have led to the loss of my job.
