The American president should not behave this way. It doesn't matter what justification you use to make his behavior okay; he shouldn't do any of that shit. A president shouldn't even be discussing the possibility of running for a 3rd term, or invading or annexing allied countries. He's flat-out said he is owed a third term. That's not something the American president says to "bait journos"; that's him publicly admitting his beliefs. His behavior has real-world consequences and shouldn't be hand-waved away.
