Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

This guy has legitimately lost the plot. I don't know if I'm turning into a TDS libtard or something but a fucking draft? We have like 1mil niggas already, why do we need more? Didn't we bomb the Iranian nuclear program a year ago or something or was that during Biden? What the fuck is actually going on?
It has nothing to do with TDS, it's literally just basic comprehension. 2 years ago it was no more wars. 1 year ago it was president of peace. 2 months ago it was a short excursion to Venezuela. Now it is global financial meltdown and "maybe a draft is on the table". It's not TDS to be saying "well maybe this administration is coping hard for its plummeting numbers".

There has not been a single US president in the past 50 years that went to war and didn't end up with approval ratings in the dumps. Trump started this war with 40% approval ratings and an economy on the brink. One month from now, he will be in competition for top 5 worst presidents in US history. 10 years from now, he will either have that #1 spot or we won't have a country anymore.

Edit:
This is actually more so markets sperging than oil sperging. I'm a marketfag, so please bear with me.
Currently, oil is high. $120/barrel is catastrophically high for the world economy. Nobody makes profit at $120/barrel. Nobody buys plane tickets. Food costs more because the trucks that transport it need more expensive gas to fill up etc etc.
HOWEVER, the markets are currently reasonably optimistic for a TACO trade. They expect short term market damage, but long term they expect a return to normal. WTI for December is currently trading at something like $70 per barrel. This means that traders expect this whole thing to have not only resolved, but to have returned to normal by December, either due to TACO or the war ending. If anything goes wrong to that trade, and by that I mean if there's any form of boots on the ground, or if this situation somehow drags out past ~May/June with active military operations still ongoing, or if oil refineries in the Gulf are hit, then the market will flat out just melt down.

You're blackpilling? The DOW was over 50,000 for about two minutes almost a month ago and you're blackpilling?

There was no Iranian nuclear weapons program. Even during the Iran-Iraq war, when Saddam Hussein was lobbing missiles with sarin gas warheads
  1. built with support from European and American manufacturers
  2. aimed with American intelligence support
at not just Iranian troops, but Iranian cities... Ayatollah Khomeini refused to allow weapons to be built to retaliate in kind.

When the IRGC quite rationally launched a program to build them, he ordered the program halted. Shahid Ali Khamenei- who was the President, during that very same war- continued that prohibition after Khomeini passed. Hopefully, his son will be more practical about this, build the nukes, and nuke the jews.

Much hay was made of the Gen Z shift towards Trump in 2024, but he's managed to lose all that support and more in a third of a term.
He’ll lose even more once he enacts the draft.
Remember when fatty was bragging about low gas prices being the key to stopping inflation? :story:

It is not TDS to use your head and understand that the president is an insane fucktard making horrible decisions that are negatively impacting the American people. This thread exists because of the people who believe everything Trump says and support everything Trump does, regardless of the facts in front of them. You'll still be unironically called a TDS liberal on the Kiwi Farms if you go into certain other threads, though.

The inevitable outcome of enacting the draft is going to be another civil war on top of Trump's war in Iran.
I'm probably a bigger doomer than most here, but I don't imagine a civil war breaking out. For sure, there would be mass protests. Also, for sure would be the Trump admin's approval for lethal force to be used against peaceful protestors, you know, one of the Iranian government's acts that was condemned by MAGA and Trump.

I still can't think of a legitimate reason for a draft, though. The purpose of a draft is to bring in additional personnel as needed, but the US still has over a million active-duty personnel, plus another half-million in the reserves and the National Guard. There's no reason to forcefully bring in more people. But I'm trying to use logic with an administration that is purely emotional. Who knows what could happen. I certainly did not expect a war with Iran as of 2 weeks ago, but here we are, I guess.

The problem with the MAGA cult is that they're attacking anyone who objects to the Iran War with the objection that the Iran regime is evil, so killing them is naturally good.

Except, as Machiavelli would say, "one must consider the ends." Sure, wiping out the Iran regime, which is a puritanical dictatorship in the worst possible definition of the word, is a positive thing. But how it's accomplished is a different matter entirely. Good intentions must be accomplished through good methods. Not evil.

If we wind up killing more civilians than the Mullahs, then at that point, you're going to have all of Iran rallying behind the Shiite clergy against the USA, when the USA's definition of "freeing Iran" is bombing schools full of girls. You know, the literal biological future of the country? Every one of those girls could have grown up to be a mother, grown up to have kids, whose kids would have kids, and we just atomized them. All to appease some Israeli leaders who want to use us one last time before Gen Z can vote out the boomers who blindly support Israel.

You can have all the good intentions in the world, but if the way you do things is evil, incompetent, or both, then the world will turn against you, because you bring more harm than good. The supposed "greater good" that you fight for doesn't materialize, and all people will remember is that your nation massacred innocents for political gain, which is going to be the legacy of Trump's America.

People dying in schools, in concentration camps, in their own homes, because Trump is completely incompetent. You got Iranian girls dying in school. You have ICE detainees dying in custody. You have Americans dying due to lack of healthcare coverage. Death by malice and incompetence is the fruit of the Trump administration. To the point where even when they try to do something good, it ends with innocent people dead.

But I suppose none of that matters to Trump. So long as the DOW goes up and his billionaire friends get their cut of the American pie, he couldn't care less. It's a regime that makes Caligula look sane by comparison, because at least he knew how to play the crowd and keep the rich and powerful in check, despite his evils.

It's my stern belief that the Gilded Age America that MAGA idealizes and tries to emulate-the one where the rich lord over the poor while the latter are left to starve-is worse than Pagan Rome. At least in the latter, the bread and circuses were free. Today? You have to pay a subscription or pay up the ass, and sometimes, you don't even get to own the product, just a license to use it.

Generally I'd agree, but he absolutely was doing a 180. Refusing money from jewish donors and actively being against the Iran war he saw coming. And normally I'd agree that he would've flip flopped again. But even Matt Walsh, Trump dick sucker supreme, isn't supporting the Iran war. Or at least he wasn't last time I checked. I think there's a real chance Kirk would've been openly against it.

Thing to remember here is this whole "Kirk was turning against the Jews/Israel, all comes from three main points:
1) Kirk saying that many of the people funding colleges and "radical marxist ideology" was Jewish donors. Though IIRC, even in that, he was more playing it off as them going "fell for it again", because they didn't understand that funding that shit led to college anti-semites.
2) Kirk feeling Israel coulda responded to Oct 7 better, and having a theory that some people in higher level positions in Israel let Oct 7 happen for personal gain.
3) Kirk getting ass-mad over one of his major Jewish donors who didn't want him to bring in Tucker Carlson as one of the main guests at Amfest or one of TPUSA's main shows. Said donor was pulling out his money, which was a decent chunk of change (I think it was up to $1 million or something), so I can understand Kirk feeling like he's being held hostage in a "money or Tucker" kinda bullshit.

Honestly, beyond that the most that is pulled is trying for some form of "six-degrees of Francis Bacon Antisemitism" where Kirk is tarred as 'hosting people with antisemitic views' ranging from Roseanne Barr to Tucker Carlson and the like.

As for Kirk himself, I don't think he was turning on Israel or the Jews himself, especially because IIRC, just a couple of days before getting shot, he had hosted some meeting or event or whatever where he was praising the Jews/Israel and calling out anti-semitism/anti-zionism. (I honestly can't remember which it was). On top of which, the whole clip of him (indirectly) calling out Candace Owens and antisemitism as BS. Dude was still hooked on hard to the Jewish machine when he got shot.
I just thought about the recent fallout of Tucker with MAGA. I'm curious if anyone that still pays attention to USPG2 saw if they were doing the same shit they always do, when someone that could have been a good ally to them is ousted. I know around the time I was last in there you could already see that at best they were iffy on carlson, my guess is because he was actually critical of Trump, just without directly saying it. And at least my experience with USPG2, is any critique of Trump or even the GOP automatically means you're a dem, a liberal, and you voted for kamala.

Tldr has USPG2 been seething about Tucker?
IIRC, MAGA and Tucker have been on the splits for a while, especially when Tucker started going against a lot of the sorta shit that their Dear Orange Leader talked about. Especially on regards with Israel stuff, but IIRC, even on the topic of muslims and shit. I myself don't like or trust Tucker (I honestly see him as barely one step better than Candace Owens), but MAGA liked Tucker because he gargled the orange balls of Trump; when he stopped doing that and started with "I don't support Trump tariffing countries I like" or "I don't think he should be giving away weapons to Israel" or whatever the fuck else, MAGA turned on him, because he was dissing their 'messiah'.

It's kinda similar to how it was with Fuentes; when he gobbled up Orange man's shit, MAGA loved him for "being one of them." But when he started calling Trump out and going "vote for the Dems instead" or whatever, suddenly he became persona non grata to those people.

Maga tards really do believe everything the ZOG tells them to believe, bro how do they not physically cringe when they type this stuff...
Simple. Trump is their messiah. So anything he says "must be true in some form or another."
Hell, even the 'forty decapitated babies' was more 'believable' than the shit he's said (I tried following the whole line of where that '40 decapitated babies' thing came from, and it turned out the ACTUAL QUOTE was something like "village razed to the ground, 40 of the killed were children, including babies" along with reports of some people being beheaded, and the whole thing got conflated into "40 decapitated babies"). And yet MAGA takes it at face-value because it's the only way they can maintain the cognitive dissonance in their head for supporting Orange Man while he reneges on his old promises and commits to actions that'll fuck them over.
Hell, I know a guy who is hardcore pro-Trump who unironically parroted the whole "US and Iran have been at war for 47 years" and "Iran was behind the assassination attempts on Trump" lines. It's not a question of proof; it's more that "dear leader said it, so SOMEHOW, it must be true".
To be completely honest here, I agree with you on that. The inevitable outcome of enacting the draft is going to be another civil war on top of Trump's war in Iran. I'm not a fan of the Iranian government as I am of the US government but honestly, you'd have to read the room in order to realize that a draft will not work in 2026 and for very big reasons which are listed below.

1. Almost every war that the US has engaged in directly, no matter what administration, in the last 50 years have been all for nothing but the profits of the defense contractors and oil companies making up bullshit excuses to exploit the resources of third world nations with complete disregard for the local population.

2. Trust in the US government is at an all-time low internationally and domestically and has led to protests and riots all across the country due to high inequality, complete disregard of the common citizen from the government, and wasting taxpayer money.

3. Even if it were to be enacted, 80% of young able-bodied American men would be ineligible for the draft due to health, fitness, or educational reasons.
The other thing to think about is that considering Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. and now the Iran war; there is no actual plan being shown. It's all a lot of "up in the air" bullshit about regime change or 'improving the lives of Iranians' or whatever, but with no plan being seen as to the actual tactics/strategies/etc. on how to make that occur. And Trump can talk about it all he wants, "shoot the head of the country until a guy we like sits there" isn't actually a strategy to win. They ACTUALLY have to target any connections and major institutions built by the regime, and replace those with new institutions that are as strong, but more "pro-US" or something. Which America hasn't done since maybe WW2.
So most of the non-migger public know that Trump and co don't really have any plans outside of "see 'bad guy', shoot 'bad guy'." And that didn't work in Vietnam, that didn't work in Afghanistan, it didn't work in Iraq, and it sure as shit is not gonna work here. It's just gonna end up with a lot of dead soldiers and even more dead Iranians. Which most Americans don't want. And would try their level best to get out of, whether by hook or by crook.
So Trump enacting a draft would probably be suicide for his case and he knows it.
Not evil.
Like I said, when Trump is not actually putting out any strategies or tactics or specific targets, but is just going around with a "we want to replace the guy on top with someone 'good for the Iranians' (i.e. someone who'll shut up and listen to US/Israel)", it's not inspiring any confidence that there is actually any good plan there outside of "see 'bad guy', shoot 'bad guy'", which has never worked in the history of modern warfare/regime change.

Not to mention between the propaganda on both sides, it is hard to actually tell what regular, on-the-street Iranians are thinking. You have articles claiming Iranians are celebrating Khamieni's death and praising the US actions (increasingly doubtful given they're attacking places like DESALINATION PLANTS), and then you find other articles where Iranians are crying and hating the US for getting rid of Khamieni, who they were protesting against barely 2-3 months ago. So getting actual gauge for Iranian thought is increasingly tough, which makes it hard to justify or support Trump's actions.

Honestly, the funny thing is now the DOW is also going downwards; I assume his billionaire friends are either gonna pull out soon to protect their money, or have him bailout or subsidize their asses to minimize loss. Either of which will hurt the normal guy.
The fucking problem is MAGA likes the gilded age because they think of it as "huge economic expansion" and shit. The problem is, they forget that huge economic expansion was due to territorial expansion and technological development; neither of which is happening today. Also, that growth didn't occur so much in the South, which still suffered and had sharecropping (almost effectively indentured servitude in many places), but where it DID occur, it helped all-round; the billionaires became multi-billionaires, but the normal guy could still build up his own house or farm or whatever.
Compare and contrast now, where rather than "gilded age", it seems to be returning to a sorta "feudal age", because the money is only 'flowing one-way' and you're not seeing any general economic growth at the bottom or any kinda "revolutionary" territorial, technological or economic development that makes the lower classes have much opportunity to go upwards.

I think there's a real chance Kirk would've been openly against it.
He would be against the retarded war. These headlines are unreal, refusing to unconditionally support Israel (a sovereign country) is the same as wanting them wiped off the map, apparently? American politics are total brainrot.

It couldn't be because of anti-trans rhetoric. Jk Rowling still lives.
Isn't that Steve Crowder?
That's the thing, most people can't relate to these retarded rightoid pundits. Steven Crowder? The guy that beats his wife and crossdressers at any given opportunity? What's even the difference?
It's like they produced these rightoid golems in a secret incubator. They all act like the blue hairs they bitch about.
If I didn't mod the sektur boards, I would have not known who Kirk was. He was yet another debatebro dime in a dozen piss in the ocean WOKE LIBS PWNED retard that I cannot force myself to give a fuck about.
Unfortunately we won't be able to see if his seedlings of anti-zionism rhetoric would have sprouted into a full grown right wing movement.

My guess is they originally liked the fact that Khameini died, then turned sour on the Yanks after the Yanks bombed desalinization plants and schools, upon which they realized that the Yankees didn't give two shits about them, so they turned around.

They realized that the only thing Trump cares about is Israel, so they naturally turned sour on the Americans.

Honestly, the funny thing is now the DOW is also going downwards; I assume his billionaire friends are either gonna pull out soon to protect their money, or have him bailout or subsidize their asses to minimize loss. Either of which will hurt the normal guy.
The latter. Trump never misses a chance to hurt the normal guy so that his rich friends can continue living like royalty.

Which is why I say the Gilded Age was worse than Pagan Rome. At least the latter gave the average man something; the former fattened the rich at the expense of everyone else.

Fuck no. Even the feudal age had money slowly creeping into the hands of the third estate; that was, after all, the age that gave birth to the bourgeoisie, which in layman's terms, is the rich landowning peasant. Some peasants who worked the lands of their lords wisely saved some of their earnings and bought some lands of their own, building up wealth as the generations went by. What we have now is the opposite. Families whose parents and grandparents were easily able to buy houses and get good jobs are now left with kids who can't get either one.

Man, I wish I was making it up.

This was when the story first broke out. Oh, and he defended the parents despite the fact that they openly allowed their son to get away with his crimes instead of protecting their daughters.

So is it really any surprise that even in 2015 these fuckers were supporting pedos?

No, you should not be surprised.

What really surprised me was when the Right went full "let's hang all the pedos" mode before the Epstein Files were released. I was like "wait, wouldn't that mean that a lot of your guys would get hanged, too?"

Funny seeing Megyn Kelly calling Josh's actions out. How old was Josh when he molested his sisters again? Around the same age as the girls when Megyn defended Trump being a pedo by saying they were only 15?

She makes excuses for Trump but had no problem calling out Josh Duggar.

But you know, Trump is the president and Josh is only some dumbfuck incest country pedo from Arkansas.

That is the reason why. Trump is very important, Josh is just some dumbfuck hillbilly. If Trump falls, the conservatives are doomed. If Josh hangs, nobody cares.

Nah, that's not surprising. It's the same as how the Left/Liberals were a-ok with "cracking down on corrupt politicians" and the like, right up until it was time for their favored politicians to "face the music".

Thing I've learned is, when it comes to groups, they easily become gung-ho on "punish the bad guy!" rhetoric, since it's easy to get behind such rhetoric. Right up until it's /theirguy/ who has to pay the toll. THEN it's suddenly "complicated" and "have to look at all the nuances" and all that shit.

Exactly. Having spent time in the culture wars of both the 2000s and the 2010s, I have seen both sides did this.

I remember how the religious right back then would say that sexual abuse of kids by Christian clergy was a complicated topic, but whenever a gay person molested a kid, the Right were all up in arms and saying that all gays were like that. Of course, to me, this was bullshit, since as a kid, I hung out with both gays and the clergy; there are outliers for both.

The same thing with the Left: they would say that LGBTQ people making porn and doing BDSM is complex and complicated, but the moment some chud wants to have video games with girls who have hourglass figures and anime boobs, the Left goes up in arms and calls them sexist pigs.

It's all virtue-signaling. To me, I'm more than willing to forgive, unless the offending party is completely in control and are just abusing their lessers because they can. By that point, they've betrayed their humanity.

I'm honestly surprised the Duggars haven't reached out to Trump to pardon their incest loving son. You know they're Trump voters.
Maybe he will, if they beg him hard enough.

Maybe he will, if they beg him hard enough.

I mean, he already freed that one very obviously guilty wealthy family that committed actual fraud, deserved to spend their entire sentence in prison, and didn't deserve to be released. I'm sure he'd do it for Josh if they pushed hard enough.

Hell, he has something in common with Josh. Josh has done incest, Trump has made incest related comments about how hot his daughter is.

Some of the guys pardoned for the January 6 incident turned out to be criminals and got charged again for crimes ranging from DUIs and illegal weapons possession, to pedophilia and rape.

man. having to teach myself how do do editing stuff for this. When you have no idea about video editing besides doing clipping, learning how to make stuff rotate like they do in schizo edits is a pain. I was going to try it in kdenlive, then that seemed like a bit much. So I moved to blender. and I'll try to overlay the video or something back in kdenlive when I'm done. I would just do it all in blender. But the video editor in blender feels way less intuitive in kdenlive.

edit: took an embarrassing amount of time to make this.

welp. t least that's one thing down. I'm sure i can find ways to use it n the future anyway.
