I remember that very well, was in college at the time. Ironically the only reason the shit isn't hitting the fan as spectacularly as 2008 is Jerome Powell. Probably Trump's only good pick.
I especially hate how Trump uses "we" when it comes to WWII. None of his family ever served and he dodged the draft during Vietnam thanks to his daddy's money.

The big problem with Trump's rampage, from the POV of a conservative, is that this is going to backfire horribly. The Left, by which I mean the political Left of the Democrat Party, is just letting Trump have his way while offering very weak resistance to his ICE agents ransacking the land. But this serves a double-purpose; they're unmasking the ugly truth behind MAGA's veneer of patriotism and love of country, while at the same time, letting Trump expand the powers of the government.
This means that when the Left retakes power (and make no mistake, they will retake power, because of how much Trump fucked the country into the dirt) they will have broad powers to have armed thugs run around and arrest or detain any undesirables, and when the MAGA/GOP crowd cries foul, the Left would just say "hey, your president did it too. No backsies!" That last bit is really the universal rule of politics. "No backsies!" What one party does, the other party will do as well. Bush created a surveillance state to keep Muslim terrorists under control, Obama used it against far-right radicals.

First thing to pop out at me was "50+ million illegal aliens." Pretty sure 50+ million is ALL immigrants, which includes those who were foreign-born, but have become CITIZENS, not to mention Green Card holders and legal immigrants (In fact, I think something like 75-80% of the immigrants is legal immigration, AFAIK). So I wonder if the retard accidentally mistook the number; or if he was of the "anyone who wasn't born in the US is an illegal immigrant" mindset.
If this retard thought Trump was gonna take away citizenship or green card status of people for being born elsewhere, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell his retarded ass.
