Someone tell this bitch that TVs got cheaper over the decades or the Reagan era which promised us enough prosperity to buy what we like. I did some sloppy math because I don't have enough data. Let's say $14 starbucks three times a day for an entire year, approximately $15,000. Let's triple that to cover these hypothetical impulse purchases. Around $75,000. Average house in a city, where the jobs are, half a million (how the fuck did that happen?) Skimp and save all you like, you're still not getting that house. Take this as a grain of salt though since I'm just throwing random numbers around but her reasoning is still flawed.
The original avocado toast guy is a real sack of shit because he wanted more unemployment to strike fear into workers.
Edit: i should add a disclaimer that you shouldn't splurge on things you can't afford and there are always better and cheaper alternatives to starbucks.

Stoller often has a lot of braindead takes. Like when he was lambasting large construction companies for slow walking construction of new homes, I suppose due to the belief that they were adamantly refusing to make more money from constructing homes rather than there being government policies making producing more homes more difficult.
He also suggested in the past that Vance, the technocrat's choice was the best foil against them. I don't think anyone sane would've thought that was the case given how he was propped up by Thiel.
Also was pro-tariffs despite how it'd mess over American businesses and jobs (along with increasing costs for regular Americans).
Man reminds me of Shoe0nHead with how he has this oddly simplistic way of looking at politics and the economy. Like he's just following along with memes rather than substance.

well yeah, but that's been a problem for some time, across many us presidencies, and across the world, of whether people want america to be the world's baby sitter/big dick or not. immigration and sanctuary shit is also an extension, of baby sitting anybody that says they're inconvenienced. you have people saying one day they want u.s to stay the fuck out of it, let shit run it's course like animals in the wild, but then you have a russia/ukraine where a sizable amount suddenly think america needs to straight up bombard moscow. or glassing all of israel just because of palestine. if you make the u.s a secured island or a baby sitter, people would be unhappy either way, and our voting systems wouldn't allow not being an emotional retard for a supported reason of the current party, not even including government corruption and retardation
ideally you would get a candidate that both devotes resources to just america, no dick swinging, no ""aid"" to party a or b, and also heavily reduces/completely stops immigration until illegals are reduced to minimal levels before carefully continuing programs. if we don't deal with immigration strongly then we ought as well be importing constant nazis and jews so warmongering is irrelevant because soldiers just get back home to take a shift dealing with multiple caste riots, and if resources just infinitely get funneled to israel or targeted aid of the day instead of stuff like just disaster relief then it's just a bleed, and it is empty, and u.s gets dragged into conflict/problems for supporting a instead of b

Even then this was a case of Gurner and the Australian Media being complete sacks of shit. This doubly affected young people in rural areas as most of the jobs you had to apprentice through, and to get employment you'd have to move to one of the cities (a big cost especially when you don't have much to begin with).
Gurner made the comment and it got signal boosted by journos in the Murdoch press to paint the millenials who were complaining about these unfair conditions as ungrateful and not knowing what to do with money to boomers (who ofcourse fucking believed it). It was a media smear job to what was then the largest voting block in the country (boomers) to astroturf a legitimate gripe about opportunities being taken away. Ofcourse being fucking millennials, they didn't have the balls to point out the attempt at replacing them with Indians, so the whole complaint was cucked to begin with.
It is an example of why Australian media (particularly the Murdochs) has been one of the worst things to happen to the Western world. I'm not gonna call total bullshit because well, maybe ICE hiring is shitty in some areas but I know a dude who applied a couple times online and using phone and never even got an email reply.
This woman was previously in the Army... and showed up in person... in Texas. Don't pretend that this means it's oh so easy. I'm pretty sure she has an agenda to sell and she probably tried as hard as possible to get in (because that's the goddamn point of her whole story, obviously).

Reading the article, the main point she seemed to be getting at is that ICE didnt do any due diligence before hiring her. Mainly not checking her social media accounts, or running a background check on her. She points out that she has openly critical posts and articles about Trump and his admin attached to her name, but that didnt seem to hamper her ability to get hired. It also appears that their screening process is ignoring basic procedures like drug testing among other things. She clearly does have an agenda, but everyone does. She does have some evidence that she got through the initial hiring process and all the way up to on-boarding and has shown access to the ICE employee dashboard. Her being in the army previously does give her a leg up over the average retard though, a lot of ICE is former military and former Law enforcement.

Also, I'm going to assume that every time she mentions dealing with an senior ICE employee and it isn't mentioned that they're white, it's specifically because they were Mexican. For example (emphasis mine) she DOES mention race where it's... very relevant.
ICE, under Donald Trump, doesn't care about ending White replacement or preserving good jobs for American workers. Their ONLY role is to be Trump's Mexican hit squad is to pop White liberals in the face, whether with 'less lethal' (but quite capable of maiming) launchers or straight up pistols and rifles.

This is a great point she brought up because that means ICE doesn't even bother figuring out if someone is a bad faith actor, whether its a leftist who will proceed to dox everyone involved or some psycho who will use their power to get away with murder or just people who will besmirch the reputation of ICE.
Think about how much the right harped on every degenerate connected to the Biden admin, you know for a fact that there has to be some ICE agents who are going to use their power to get away with rape, or torture or just killing anyone that looks at them the wrong way. one of the biggest mass shootings in the world was done by a south korean police officer who just snapped and managed to hit about 100 casualties before he got put down. You know every guy who missed out on being a school shooter has applied to ICE.

This is why I said earlier that the damage is already done. Even if we never voted in a retard as bad as Trump again (not a big enough rainbow for that shit), we have given other countries a roadmap to work without us. Until Orange Nigger, there never was a reason to exclude America from trade deals, security, etc. Even if we voted in someone competent in 2028, there’ll be four years of deals that exclude us because we’re too retarded to work with. The next president would need a legion of diplomats that can unfuck the prior four years. It hasn’t even been one full year of his term.
