A lot of art is formed by the times they were created in and even if it isn't intended too, you have the right to interpret art however you like as long as it fits the text. The Anti-ICE art is especially funny in this regard because a lot of these characters depicted are ones who naturally stand against authority and stand up for the oppressed even if the actions are illegal, especially superheroes.

Fedora tipping atheism died because atheism won and society is secular now. Religious organizations on the national level are hyperfocused on politics and spend much of their time trying to figure out how to come up with theological justifications for Republican policies, and individual churches are largely segregated by party affiliation, with Republican-aligned churches predominating. It's so blatant that the Trump felt the need to pass an executive order telling the IRS not to enforce the law when it came to the tax exemptions from churches that endorse candidates. The stuff that the fedora tippers used to rip on, creationism and the supernatural bullshit, is long gone.

(Also the fedora tipping community was ripped in two by wokeness and counter-wokeness, but that was an internal matter)

I was initially pretty freaked out about the USA invading Greenland for no reason, because this shit costs money and we are already 1 trillion in debt... but I see the hawks in A&N can't wait to go.

Now I've changed my mind--I think we need to take up a collection for these eager young right wing males to enlist ASAP and defend our country against Greenland.

Just like none of the pro-Vietnam hawks fought in that war or even sent their kids (Al Gore an exception but his Senator-dad still made sure he had an easy gig), it seems that few or NONE of the hawks will be fighting this one too.

As long as they all go to fight, I am all for it. Send them all to Greenland.

But just like DJT and his cowardly bone-spur deferment, they'll leave the dirty work of death to everyone else.

Honestly the moment Greenland is invaded, it will be over. Like it would fuck up Trump completely since there isn't even a story about how they house a terrorist threat or do drugs, or really anything negative about them that could justify it.
