I generally agree with the gist of the urbanist cause but I think trying to reformat cities that are heavily car-dependent in terms of their infrastructure and organization like the DFW area or Jacksonville are generally easier said than done. Also there has to be a big overhaul of the issues with currently existing public transportation systems in cities that have them like NYC, the subway there is a fucking mess and there's a bum on basically every train. We need to start taking better care of our already existing public transportation systems before we can actually get the public on board with building more, baby steps.

I always love how miggers rail against "15 minute cities" and mass transit but have no problems being a slave to their (debt-financed) car to go anywhere or do anything. The most miggery exurbs are uninhabitable without a car or BIG TRUG.

It's about debt maximization. Nobody has yet been put into debt by using their feet, bicycle or public transport. By making cars an absolute necessity for purchasing food and being employed, you effectively ensure that all young adults take on debt to purchase a vehicle. It's still a far broader net than student loans which are also increasingly becoming common even for the supposedly affordable community colleges. A mortgage is just the coup de grâce.

The right wing currently serves to maximize the amount of debt taken on by the population which is why they oppose any universal healthcare and will mercilessly scalp students for their debt. You cannot put people into massive medical debt if the taxpayers collectively cover it. Similarly, they will oppose urban design which enables alternatives to cars. The objective is to extract as much debt as possible from the population.

Don't even have to live in downtown, just have good public transit. Majority of people who work in Manhattan dont live in it, they just hop on a train and walk to work. No reason other major cities couldn't implement something similar.

Have you ever been to a major city? Any city's downtown and especially the CBD is the whitest part by far. The issue is the cost of living, not crime or niggers.

Far more white people move to major cities than they do to bumfuck shitholes with absolutely nothing to offer like West Virginia or Oklahoma.

Because that's where all the jobs are. The moment they can they move to the suburbs to get as far away from blacks as possible. It's why the suburbs of places like Atlanta and Dallas look like Mega City One.

People live in the suburbs around major cities because the cost of living is so much lower and it's a lot quieter and better for raising a family, not because they're afraid of niggers/Mexicans/whatever.

It's important to note they also don't move out to Deliverance Country.
