I literally cannot avoid seeing something utterly retarded happening everyday with this administration. I saw a post that had the USA Ambassador demanding Stockholm, Sweden to halt DEI initiatives. I thought it was a fucking meme until I looked it up, all this Anti-DEI bullshit is thinly veiled racism. For God's sake Maga says that Jasmine Crocket is a DEI Hite even though she's literally an elected official.
Then I just saw that the feds had two endangered wolves mistakenly killed because they were hunting private cattle on public land. Just to also add to that I hear people still malding about the keystone pipeline being canceled. It's almost as if there are things that are more important than money like I don't know, preserving what beauty and nature we have left.
I feel like the logical conclusion of all these MAGA policies is the USA becoming like the fucking MOVIE WALL-E except the fat humans are white and indian billionaires. Imagine calling LA a shitshow and talking about it's homeless population yet championing billionaires and policies that lead to said homelessness.
Anyway sorry about the malding I just can't believe people look at this shitshow and say "this is fine". Like I remember this bullshit in the first Trump term, and yet these idiots are saying America is finally changing for the better. So let me get this straight, the administration from 2016-2020 wasn't a change in the right direction for you MAGA? Like the double think this cult has is fucking insane.

It isn't that weird to have disagreements with the pope, but it gets a bit extreme with some people on the Right since they want to think of themselves as holier than thou and kept making arguments like the teaching "ordo amoris" a few months ago to argue you shouldn't care that much about foreigners.
As it has become a popular concept to many of them that you shouldn't be valuing empathy so much.
Which was a reply to Rory Stewart's comment:
As they generally wanted to treat people as moral scolds for being against gulaging legal residents in the US or for thinking some charity projects were nice (likely because they didn't want to have to argue why these things were right in their minds).
So the pope being American and not endorsing their view on them being moral for not wanting to empathize with others hits them a bit harder than if the pope had turned out to be African or something.
