Of all of the frustrating aspects of Trump, the one I find the most frustrating (apart of his complete lack of empathy and expectation that loyalty to him is a one-way street) is that he comes out with his sledge hammer and doesn't consider the repercussions. Let the chips fall where they may, and when things don't work out as promised, blame someone else.

Of course a Trump cocksucker would make a video meant to be shared around by other Trump cucks and elderly people to act like Trump is a secret genius who cares about you. Manufacturing is almost never going to be as it was in the 1950s again and these dumbass videos don't account for corporate corruption and a globalized economy.
We know that this is stupid, but I've been thinking about it and feel compelled to break down why it is. This guy's argument is that crashing the stock market will lead the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, which will make borrowing easier, which will fuel the investment in American industry that Trump wants. This makes no sense because the reason the Fed cuts interest rates in response to crashes is that people start hoarding money, i.e., refusing to invest it, and the Fed is trying to keep money in circulation to prevent a spiral of deflation. It doesn't encourage new investments but only compensates for ones that have stopped being made because of a lack of confidence in the economy. Also, the reason interests are what they are is that the Fed is still trying to keep inflation under control, so even if this plan works out and Trump gets lower interest rates with no hoarding, the probable result is that inflation will surge and undermine his whole agenda.

I read about a guy who lost his job (at the VA, I think) because of DOGE. His reaction was that he knew that Trump himself "didn't mean it", and he's still an avid supporter. I wonder if anyone who lost a bundle on Trump's meme coin while Trump raked in millions in transaction fees still supports him.
