Logically if they really gave a shit they would put far more effort into stopping those coming in than kicking those out who have already been here for years and are assimilating into the country. If you just deported all the criminals, directly stopped the flow inwards, and gave the actually productive illegals citizenship (but make them learn English) it would fix quite a few problems. As an example if they are subject to the minimum wage as citizens, they aren't turbofucking the job market anymore because there's no reason for an employer to chose them over any other US citizen. However right now for the few industries that haven't been offshored to fucking India or something those illegals are used as indentured servants for greedy fuckheads. And guess which group of people run the government? It's pretty obvious the political elite have artificially created the immigration problem through their own policy, and now they are coming to reap the sickly seeds they've sown by using these immigrants as an enemy to blame anything and everything on. You sound like a good friend for even being willing to listen to them, and so do they. I still try to listen to my conservative friends (the ones who haven’t gone full migger, anyway) so that even if I don’t agree with them, I can at least see where they’re coming from to understand why their stance is the way it is. This willingness to engage in civil discussion is the first step towards preventing this kind of insanity from proliferating.
Honestly I doubt there will be any boots on the ground. Trump will bomb some random shit and the IRGC will willingly give up Khamenei and Trump will get to parade it around as the best, greatest victory America has ever had.
If there's a military operation, I'm betting it will be an early morning strike on Iranian military bases and equipment carried out by land-based aircraft with the carrier strike group acting as a diversion. It would be very dumb to have any Americans step foot on Iranian territory though.
