Because you'd be starving and digging (or occupying) a mass grave if they didn't. On a serious note, things get better and countries like Poland, Singapore, and Rwanda were shitholes less than a century ago. Even as economic conditions deteriorate, there are millions of hardworking people who improve the world is small ways daily. Appreciate the people who put bread on your table even as the world around us gets worse. It's their work that leads to improvement in the long term.

Everyone needs to laugh at some point. It's a method of coping. People who can't laugh end up bitter & resentful of the people & world around them. Or worse, they become radicalized & join terrorists.
This isn't any different than how it's been for thousands of years other than our freedom of speech & our ability to communicate. & compared to the past, it's only gotten better. Go back just a few decades & if some corruption was going on in a small town in your state that didn't make the news you would never have heard about it. Now anyone with a camera & an Internet connection can deliver news. Social media can try to censor it but that just makes more people aware.Even in shithole dictatorship countries people find ways to communicate uncensored.
That is a losing battle. No race on this planet is some hive mind that 100% agrees with everyone in their race. Even the chinese disagree with each other, & sometimes even their government. Most people in China don't want to go to war with Taiwan or the US. They'd rather just sit & wait, thinking Taiwan will one day decide to be part of mainland China again. The majority of people in Arab countries don't want to fight with the US, Europe, or even Jews. They couldn't care less, they just want to be left alone. They hate extremists just as much as anyone else does. People in the Sahel don't want muslim rape gangs kidnapping their daughters to be sold off as war brides. People in Brazil don't want gangs robbing & gunning down whoever they feel like in the streets.
Your mind should be set on doing anything & everything to prevent a war from happening, not anticipating it. A global race war does not solve any of the issues you've brought up & only exacerbates them. A civil war will only lead to the same thing that happened after the last one & you have no idea if your rights will come back fully protected or not.

just to add my own POV, i don't think this new video clears ICE. either the agents didn't know who we was from before, in which case nothing changes and it's still a bad shoot, or they did know who he was because they documented him and subsequently targeted him and intentionally escalated a confrontation with him. which is kind of a worrying thing for the DHS to be capable and willing to do.

I'll be waiting for the mass mobilization of MAGA to work farm fields. AI isn't going to pick your strawberries or any other truck crop that can't be harvested by automation.
It doesn't require an education or advanced skills to work ag fields. But it still requires skill, ability and willingness to work long hours under difficult and exhausting conditions. Sorry I don't see most Americans willing to do this.

Bitching and saying shit is hopeless IMO is just people pre-justifying doing fuck all. They're not doing anything because they're doompilled, they are doompilled because they don't want to do anything.
People don't even have to get involved with politics. Join a community group that focuses on activities; like shooting, archery, crafts, fishing club, any fucking thing really. Talk to other people who share that interest, use people who are better to help you skill up in your interest and then help people who know less get better in return. Interacting and doing things with other people is going to improve things in general, it doesn't even have to be political, and for those who have the ability and ambition to go onto politics, networking in those community hobby groups is a great place to build a base.
As for the tech giants having complete control, they've tried pretty hard to shut this place down and the best they've done is a few bad faith news pieces and a small bunch of troons DDOSing. If they can't shut down or control this shit fight they've got buckey's when it comes to dominating the world.
