I am infinitely more sympathetic to Luigi's Mansion than I am to either Drew "coalmine" Pavlou or to a communist freakshow who has kept his country in poverty for years while lining his pockets.

How does this weaken Russia and Iran (who is part of OPEC) when they're the next biggest oil providers? I think this just increases reliance on them.

Cos that aspect of it's nothing to do with oil, it removes their military presence and political influence from Venezuela. The article I linked explains it better than I can.

Ah my bad for not clicking the link, I assumed it was a discussion on oil as thats the two biggest economic powers those countries have.
