Preparing for the future is white supremacy.

I'm not even exaggerating. I'm pretty sure it was on that infamous graphic about "white culture."

Edit: Yep. Plan for the future and delayed gratification were both on there.
Would it be this one? Apparently, it was taken down by the Smithsonian after it was criticized for "not contributing to productive discussion".

I saw that shit and made sure to save it.

I admit, there's so much to unpack in that image. They've got some things right, and some things hilariously wrong. 'Bland is best'? Lolwut?

That's the old "White folks don't use spices" canard that many POCs have convinced themselves is true. For a laugh, ask them why Columbus was trying to find an alternate route to the "spice islands".

It's probably because their only knowledge of "white people food" is prison food or something.

That and England was in major debt after WW2 which effected various parts of life, including the kind of food that could be procured.

I also think that The Great Depression caused a bunch of grief in the older generations of America because the "greatest generation" was raised in that time which then raised the baby boomers. I know my grandmother on one side has always forgotten that salt and pepper works wonders and her husband lived off of bread and butter sandwiches in his childhood (his mother always tried to feed the grandkids that as well and if they turned it down she'd always go "well, I guess you aren't actually hungry then" but let's face it, she was a paranoid woman who was a sudden widow and had to raise not only her children but also both her sister's kids because of extenuating circumstances).

Funny how the most successful country in the world, followed every thing in the "whiteness" code. Though change whiteness to American values and you got yourself a winning economy.

I knew they wouldn't be able to not talk about those blog posts. They just can't help themselves.

Doesn't help that this "trending" phrase is the verbatim name of a cool documentary on HBO.

Stacey Abrams loses by 50K votes, refuses to concede.

YAAAASSSS KWEEEEEEEN SLAAAAAY!

ELECTIONS CAN BE TAMPERED WITH! VOTER SUPPRESSION! RECOUNT UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT!

<photoshoots where her fatass in a cape like a superhero>

Trump loses and points out some kinda shady shit going on, like 100% of military absentee ballots going for Biden in some areas.

ELECTIONS CAN'T BE TAMPERED WITH! SHUT UP! EXPERTS SAY BIDEN WON! STOP QUESTIONING ELECTIONS!

Fucking. Pick. One.

Let's be honest, Trump was already overstepping his boundaries when he first came into office. Do none of you remember him asking for two scoops of ice cream?! Probably would have asked for three scoops if he won again. Worse, it was probably vanilla. Biden eats chocolate like a true gentleman.

Only thing that’s Crime of the Century is the blandness of the Trending topics on Twitter.
