Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

The creator of the comic Modest Medusa is currently going full on Trump Derangement Syndrome:
"Your vote means everything, don't be intimidated!"
"If you're not going to vote the way I want, don't vote!"
This reminds me of something that kind of peeves me off: Everyone and their mom posting "gO oUt AnD vOtE" on their socials when you know what they really mean is "Go out and vote for the guy I like!"

This tool is just saying the quiet part out loud.
Back in 2016 I was Trump-neutral and just supported people voting no matter who they voted for, which means I encouraged people to vote for Trump if that's who they wanted to vote for, and not to believe the histrionics about Trump or Hillary because, ultimately, the country would survive no matter what. Predictably this meant responding to all the Trump nonsense like 'it's not possible for him to go full Hitler' and looking up the truth about the reporter and Mexican and 400 rape stuff (I didn't actually know the truth about it at the time, I just figured 'eh, it's a republican candidate, they're probably lying' and so looked for the answers on that assumption) - what resulted was people sending me messages going "You need to stop, get out the vote is fine but you're SCARING people!"

How would they like if people flipped this around on Democrats? Because if they were able to do this, the moment the Republicans took power again (and they would) that's exactly what would happen, with the justification that the did this.
Pray, do tell us more of what you want to do to the silent majority out in the open, I beg of you, I would love to hear more.

Ah yes, let's enact war crimes and literal human rights violations on people on the scale of China because people voted differently! Please vote for us!

Things China does to Uighurs:

Torture, including siting in seats that electrocute them and drowning
Force them to sit in a 'tiger chair' or hung in horrible uncomfortable positions by chains to cause discomfort and prevent sleep
Whipping and caning
Forceful confessions of crimes
Violent beatings + threat of death to try to force them to spy on other Uighurs
Electroshock treatment
Forced sterilization of their women that cannot be fixed (including stopping their menstrual cycle by force)
Cultural genocide (the forced adoption of their children into other families)
Forced abortions of pregnant women
Ban them from speaking to each other and instead only allow them to speak their love of the CCP/sing CCP anthems for hours
Ban them from speaking anything but the 'correct' language
Ban them from recognizing or admitting their actual ethnicity
Bribes to marry interracially
Gang rape by prison guards done in public to psychologically torture other inmates watching
Uighur families not in camps are forced to have CCP agents live with them and pretend they're family members to teach them proper 'unity', and reportedly often rape the women while they live there
Forced nudity for humiliation
According to a recent international suit by the Uighurs, even when they can't see or aren't having something done to them, they can hear 'unbearable screams' coming from other rooms in those camps, where the people are being routinely abused and tortured
Forcing them to renounce their faith before they're allowed out of the camps, kept in indefinite detention with no hope of release until authorities declare they've 'transformed'
Starvation
Complete isolation
Purposeful constant noise pollution via transmitters
Control over what names can be given to babies
Denial of passports and visa + stalking and chasing those who escape the country, occasionally demanding countries extradite those who escaped back into China
'Freed' Uighur have their social media closely monitored, so that any improper posting or online behavior will put them back in the camps
Random bouts of house arrest
Controlling what they're allowed to wear, and how they're allowed to wear their hair and beard
Zero privacy for 'free' Uighur, constant monitoring of every aspect of their lives
Banned from using VPNs
Of course, ironically, separating parents from children indefinitely

A US commission investigating the crimes committed against the Uighurs said "We haven't seen crimes on this scale since World War 2", even foreigners who go in that are determined to be muslim or sympathtic to Uighurs are at risk of being swept up in those camps.

Now, I know since these are done against Muslims the general response is 'based' or whatever (bear in mind, though, they're slowly turning on the Christians in their country to do this, and they harvest organs from their Buddhists), but the tweet is suggesting all that be done to people who just vote or support Trump. Like that's totally reasonable. They're literally advocating for the concentration camps that they claim Trump's 'totally gonna throw the gays into' for wrongthinkers.

I mean, really. You want people to vote for you while you suggest behavior that is the most horrifying level of human rights violations we've seen this side of the literal Nazis? Really? That's your play?
Trump just issued a lockdown on the White House and guess how Twitter reacted
They'll get themselves shot, they try storming the white house.
How could he be jailed when they can't figure out a crime to charge him with....?

I have no idea if he would. I'd say probably just because it would be somewhere new to screech to.

The followers would probably be a 50/50 mix of the "Woah, I don't condone violence, but..." reply and the "WOOO AND NOW IT'S TIME TO LYNCH NAZIS TOO" replies. At this point I don't know if the Secret Service would do anything unless he was to explicitly tell people to go out and JFK the Donald. Twitter would surely ban him if he did that, but for cheering, I don't think they'd do anything. Maybe a short suspension or something if anything at all.
Final 2 questions: what will his “legacy” be in the future and how will historians view his actions in the future? What will become of his book and if trump leaves office what will become of it like toilet paper?

I'm tired so I hope I'm understanding this correctly. We're talking about the Twtter guy, right? In terms of legacy or any works, unless he somehow comes out of nowhere and does something to play a key role in changing the course of American history he'll be forgotten pretty quickly except for a very few dedicated people with severe personality problems. There's such a slew of TDS related material and there will be for at least a generation (and he's not really a big fish to begin with) that he'll be a small fish getting ever smaller in a big grifter pond.

You’re right plus he should get his own thread here on Kiwi Farms

I agree, no one will have any idea who he is. There will be some historical record of TDS in the same way that Nixon appeared as a villain in Watchmen in the 1980s, but it won't be detailed beyond the more mainstream forms like Saturday Night Live skits.

But even with that potential boogyman, they'll still get unbearably smug. And that's not entertaining as seeing their soy-filled tears.
True that. They would spend the next four years pretending to not see any mistake their dear government may eventually do, dismissing it with something like "at least it's not Drumpfhg".

Either way, these people won't be happy. If some other black guy dies in shady circumstances or an economical crisis breaks out, the blame won't be on the president, but on some abstract entity, like capitalism or the government system.

Remember, Obama had a 'scandal free' presidency. Any reports to the contrary are right-wing conspiracies.

Time Magazine printed this insanity as if it was a good thing.

That's the real crazy shit this year, the ruling class coming out and not only admitting to a lot that people who have been called tin-foil conspiracy theorists have been bleating about for decades, but coming out and trying to seriously sell people on it! It's fucking madness.

I want Trump to win but at the same time I don't think I can handle another 4 years of Blumpf evil/orange man bad 24/7. And I don't even live in the US where the situation is probably beyond my comprehension.

That's how propaganda wears you down, through repetition.

Its background noise to me at this point.

Anyone want to tell them that they're gonna have an extra bad time if they do that? The white house sec uses security dogs on the lawn, and I'm pretty sure "would you rather be mauled by a german shepherd, or shot with a .45?" are one of the better "would you rather" scenarios. I mean, if they do what they're saying here they'll get both, but I suppose that's neither here nor there.

From the article:

Dr. Fauci has consistently been unwilling to look outside of his own lane in terms of the pandemic. Which I can't entirely knock him for, he is a doctor after all and he is tasked with handling the medical aspect of this. But that starts to wear thin when the doctor(s) consistently disregard the socioeconomic angle of the pandemic. They both need to be weighed. And when anyone under 70 is looking at a 99% survival rate (with people over 70 facing a 95% survival rate) it might be time to consider letting people make some money and not subject them to state-enforced poverty and familial destruction.
Trump has accepted Fauci’s terms. Can’t keep your mouth shut, Anthony? Enjoy losing that cushy government job you have occupied for 40+ years.

Occasionally weirdos do try to attack the White House, but they never get past security. Earlier this year one of Trump's press briefings was interrupted and the secret service ushered him away because someone was shot outside.
