Nah, that's insulting to McClellan. McClellan was great at logistics and turned the Army of the Potomac from a disorganized group of volunteers into to a well-organized and trained army. His main problems was that he had an ego the size of the sun and was cautious to the point of stupidity. He likely could have captured Richmond if he had counter-attacked at the end of the 7 days battle, as Lee had utterly exhausted his army and had taken more casualties than he inflicted. This attitude crippled McClellan as well his insubordination and led to Lincoln saying " If General McClellan does not want to use the Army, I would like to borrow it for a time, provided I could see how it could be made to do something." He deserved to be sacked but he was at least useful early in the war.
Vindman has the ego of McClellan, but none of the talent or achievements to back it up. He deserves to be forgotten or to be remembered as a shitstain who refused to set his politics aside for his shot at fame and power.
It's ludicrous. "I have a dick but I'm a woman" is way more damaging to science than anything Trump did or advocated.
