Counterpoint: These same people cheer the guy slaughtering the creatures that rape and pillage. Maybe the reason people cry about the rape and stuff in the anime is because in the back of your mind you're conflating goblins with migrants and you're worried about what that means when Trump supporters watch the anime despite them being able to discern reality from fiction... considering how little they seem to use children's fantasy books for their political analogies. Food for thought.

The moon on the main page is so appropriate to how I feel right now. Its almost like the day before election night all over again with this anticipation and feeling of dread/chaos looming overhead...
Win or lose, all Hell will break loose...

Edit:
The moon fell and it didn't even cause a tremble. WTF Hardly anyone's even talking about this on social media.

I've got a friend in Atlanta that's so fucking sure that black nigger woman Abrams is going to win. Pretty glad he's clinically depressed and used to disappointment because I sincerely doubt he's going to get what he wants.

I really hope so; she is straight outta the Weather Underground and Commie as they come.

What's all this talk I keep hearing about Burger King "roasting" Trump and Kanye? Even those that I know won't shut up about it (and they don't even give me an answer, they just keep sending me a stupid laughing emoji) and something about the "highest rated burn ever" or some shit. Yes I'm probably late on this, but I was expecting to see midterm talk or paranoia but all I'm seeing is talk about Burger King and I feel like I'm late to something. :late::late::late:

Are more people shitposting on facebook/twitter/whatever over some roast than actually voting?

Is there any conservative these people don’t think are Russian backed?

Are you threatening us with more autistic screeching until your side wins? Because I am voting, just not for your guy.

You said the world would fall apart after we elected a Cheeto but I’m doing pretty good right now. My taxes are lower and my portfolio is still way better than last year.

Edit: Ignore the shrieking trannies, everyone’s doing better.

TBH when you look at what politicians do, not say, there isn't that much difference at a national level. The difference in rhetoric is just based on who their voting Bloc is that they appeal to.

Like, for all the fuss about Trump's immigration policies, most of it was already in place under Obama.

Reposting from another thread.

I'm dreaming of a liberal meltdown
Just like the ones I used to know
Where their teardrops glisten
and if you you listen
You can hear, some snowflakes screeching "Noooooo"

I'm only keeping track of The Young Turks salt.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=g0DUJLc52KwIt is tasty.

I mean, red senate blue house was what was predicted anyways. If anything, seeing blue guberatorial flips and blue house wins in the midwest are what a Never Trumper would want to see, and the House is a bigger litmus of public opinion on Trump than Senate races as there is only 1/3 or so Senate seats up for grabs and most of them happen to be surefire red. Replacing a senate or grabbing tossups is a slower game anyways since not all the seats are up at once and senate terms are 6 yrs.

How is this going to affect Trump? I could see the House not doing shit but only investigate him.

Trump won largely on a red wave in the midwest. Those states voting blue now likely mean the people there have switched sides against him and the GOP by now.

In general, a lot of democratic flips mean public opinion has shifted against republicans, and therefore Trump. What I am referring to is prospects in 2020, not so much the two years intervening.
