That's probably a reason why Donald has been doing so many rallies and specifically saying "Don't get complacent" at them. It's easy to sit back and laugh at the screeching they've been doing for 2 years, but you need someone to remind you to stop laughing for just a second and vote so the screeching will continue.

Regardless of the outcome he's still President for 2 more years so it's still 2 years of nice salt to look forward to.

He’s one of the few defeated by Trump to learn the lessons of that defeat. The rest have been screeching and shitting themselves for 2 years.

On top of that according to Trump himself most of the animosity between them was theatrics anyway. Cruz and Carson both seem to have understood that what he says on campaign to get the job was just jaw jaw. They both seemed to spot something to back him and it has paid dividends since. Carson's largely unreported work is desperately trying to go unnoticed by the MSM but not among the communities targeted and Cruz seems to be ascending to another plain of existence.

This couldn't be any truer for me. While I have never skipped voting on an election since I've been old enough to vote, I have voted with more determination for the past two elections than I have in a while.

In 2015, I was a jaded conservative (with libertarian tendencies) voter who hated the GOP and deemed herself a #NeverTrumper. Then, March 2016 happened, when one of Trump's rallies in Chicago had to be canceled due to violent protests by the opposition. As cringy as the term has become, that was a "red pill" moment for me, as I had realized how damaged and fucking crazy the left has become.

I've said this many times before, and I'll say it again: My ballots are going to bleed RED for the foreseeable future. The Democrat Party is fucking nuts, and as long as they remain this way, I will never consider voting Democrat ever again (which I had done in some local, smaller elections before).

But you'll never be free of the obnoxious shrieking. That's what gets me about people who are saying they just look forward to the election being over... look back at the last two years, you think the election means anything is going to be over?

I was much the same way for a while longer, I ended up voting for Gary Johnson hoping enough people might as well to establish an at least semi-viable third party option but I ended up regretting that quite a bit. Not because of throwing away a vote, it wouldn't matter at all where I live anyway, but because Johnson was a joke of a libertarian and a candidate. I did enjoy the election night salt but Trump honestly didn't do much to win me over, it was well into 2017 with antifa chimping out that that started to change. The Kavanaugh hearings were probably the final straw for me.
