It’s amazing because for the last 10-20 years they’ve completely ignored the cries of “illegal immigration is hurting Americans getting jobs because the labor isn’t regulated and employers would rather import a family of Mexicans they can pay pennies rather than pay people who live here legally an honest wage” to scream about how people saying we need better border enforcement are just racists who need to get BTFO cuz they hate Hispanics. No, indentured servants were freed after 3, 5 or 7 years and given a plot of land (assuming they lived that long, a lot of them died of disease). Illegals are always illegals and are lower-class for life!

They're very carefully edging around that from what I've heard so far. They keep trying to downplay that he's denounced it by only rarely mentioning his statement against it, and asking everyone they talk to "Don't you think it's important for the President to denounce these sort of attacks?" I think they're being cautious about all-out blaming Trump since that might give their hand away entirely, but they're >implying extremely heavily and trusting the NPCs to pick up on it due to prior programming.
