Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I have been noticing this behaviour from what is traditionally designated as the American right as well. I recently listened to Ben Shapiro's podcast, with whom I grow increasingly disappointed, where he commented on King George II's speech and the media's reaction to it. TL;DW: According to Ben Dubya didn't attack Trump directly but "the Left" and far right populists. From approximately 22:13 he addresses the speech with 30:49 being his final words on the issue.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=id=cQv7n2_o7Yc;m=30;s=49Personally I find Bush's speech irrelevant since this defect of a human being showed the entire world what he really stands for during his presidency; some of his fuckups already described by other Kiwis. It is my humble understanding that one of the pillars of American conservatism is the belief in a small government, which makes Ben praising Dubya as a "mensch" or "a good man" the more jarring given how during his presidency Burgerstan turned into the corporate equivalent of Eastern Germany with the government being way more up your ass than your proctologist.

Why neocons aren't considered social pariahs by now will remain a mystery to me.

inb4 the documents reveal that it was really Ted Cruz's father who killed JFK
Because there is No difference between NeoCons and NeoLibs. They both believe in the same things, Corporatism and Interventionism, but they pretend they don't. When a NeoCon says something is "Unconstitutional" what they actually mean is " I want to implement this My/Our way instead".
As for Dubya's speech I think the whole thing is way overblown. The people who think it was some intentional and stirring takedown of Trump are SJWs desperate for an Anti-Drumpf talking point.

Not everyone agreed with Obama I mean look at this:

If Trump goes in for populism and socialism, it will be hilarious to see the left suddenly embrace capitalism and rugged individualism, just to be contrary.

And it seems absurd to think of Trump taking that stance, but it’s the same logic that said “Only Nixon could go to China.”

I don't see how anyone could make the CIA look bad. It's not the nature of the things they do, but that they are so insanely incompetent about it. They could fuck up a wet dream.

If the CIA had been involved in the Kennedy assassination, they would have missed him entirely and shot up a bus load of orphans a block over.

Over in the UK they are getting ready to air the new season of Robot Wars. Apparently there was a team who not only showed up with a Donald Trump-themed robot, they were accepted and qualified for the show. Word around the community is the robot will be in the first episode of the new season later this month.

That episode aired last night. The Donbot got fucked up by the dude who threw a hissy fit when the kid's team won and a bunch of little bastardbots.

Why are there so many people as far left as possible (according to this) economically but there's literally no one as far right as possible economically? Do you have to literally support McWarlords™ and child slaves processing heroin to be economically far-right?

I think it's mostly those goofballs that think we should go back to bartering with chickens and living in mud hovels. Not the Muslims, though they're a bunch of fucking luddites too.

You have to be in favor of enforcing hitman contracts in court, but also against permitting them to be carried out against a third party (the target) without the third party's cosigning it.

No-one was expecting it to do well, least of all the guy who made the Donbot I'm sure- as you know there's a long history of people entering the show with functionally joke entries.

My only complaint is he didn't use something else as hair, so we'd have had something to watch get set on fire in the arena.

Far right economics has been successfully framed as trading hookers for heroin thanks to political science majors.

The truth, as we all know, is never some polar extreme, but found in the unsexy middle, a place very few go anymore.

They exist especially in sovereign citizen movements, you know the type of people who rant about the gold standard and ending the federal reserve. They're just relatively uncommon compared to Social media Communists/Socialists.

CNN’s new ad campaign.

Gee, I wonder what they could possible be referring here...

Having "we tell it straight" as your selling point can work as long as you present it in a pulling back the curtain on the wizard kind of way.

On the other hand, "we can correctly identify fruit, even in the phase of oddly persistent opposition" is probably the worst example of "telling it straight" anyone's ever thought of - especially since they used apples so a good chunk of people will think it's a phone ad for the first 20 seconds or so.
