I recently listened to Ben Shapiro's podcast, with whom I grow increasingly disappointed, where he commented on King George II's speech and the media's reaction to it. TL;DW: According to Ben Dubya didn't attack Trump directly but "the Left" and far right populists. From approximately 22:13 he addresses the speech with 30:49 being his final words on the issue.

Personally I find Bush's speech irrelevant since this defect of a human being showed the entire world what he really stands for during his presidency; some of his fuckups already described by other Kiwis.
