Here's an archive of Trump's speech. Seems pretty good. http://archive.is/AyYFM

Remember when SNL at least tried to pretend it was funny and made jokes?

I genuinely don't get why people were laughing and I'm wondering whether they didnt just fucking added that laugh track because how is that even funny or comedy

The shit is this? Hasn't the left been hysterically insisting that the Muslim world is totally tolerant and feminist and that anyone who disagrees is a Nazi for like a decade now? Hell didn't they criticize trump for allegedly being mean to Muslims?

Fucking amazing, all it took for sjws to start hating Muslims was trump shaking hands with one. Anyone want to take bets on who will be the next victim class that can do no wrong now that Muslims are apparently the allies of meanie man Trump?
It's not like they care about Islam because of any sort of ideology. It's an exotic, "non-white" religion that does things that right-wing people don't like. It's a combination of white man's burden and virtue signaling.

My favorite part of the speech:
God-Emperor Trump dijo:
But the nations of the Middle East cannot wait for American power to crush this enemy for them. The nations of the Middle East will have to decide what kind of future they want for themselves, for their countries, and for their children.

It is a choice between two futures -- and it is a choice America CANNOT make for you.

A better future is only possible if your nations drive out the terrorists and extremists. Drive. Them. Out.

DRIVE THEM OUT of your places of worship.

DRIVE THEM OUT of your communities.

DRIVE THEM OUT of your holy land, and

DRIVE THEM OUT OF THIS EARTH.

But I saw no mention of a "red line" or an apology for America's misdemeanors in Trump's speech, therefore he must be Hitler.

The alt-right should be happy with Trump. He's making the liberals to do the stuff the alt-right wanted him to do. Who knows, maybe dems might support that travel ban after all. And seeing that Trump is going to Jerusalem next, we might get Dems calling for gas chambers real soon

"It eventually became necessary to destroy the village in order to save it"

To be fair the justice democrat stuff seems to be a sincere attempt by people who give a damn about the negative influence of big money in US politics. They're probably going about it very badly and I'd take a guess it's full of social justice cancer and the like but at least it's an attempt to curb the influence of hags like Clinton from their party.

It's fun to see people who hated past administrations for getting the US involved in the middle east now shift their hate onto Trump for saying that countries need to sort their own shit out and that the US should stop getting so involved in the middle east

And on the other side of the aisle, the left splits again.

That's only going to get more prominent for both parties as so-called reformers keep capitulating to moneyed interests.

I've said it before on this site but the 2020 or 2024 elections are going to be fucking terrifying as the base for both parties embraces an anti-establishment attitude after being burned by charlatans in both 2008 and 2016. If neither party bothers to try to enact real reforms and change the mindset of DC insiders (which seems to be the case) we're headed for Huey Long-tier candidates in the future.

Optimist. It's going to be Ted Nugent and Maxine Waters.

From a r/politics thread in which they were trying to belittle Trump's 9-day overseas trip

Nugent is too much of an establishment shill for a presidential run. 2020 is going to be Zuckerbeg vs. Oprah for the Democrats and maybe a Pence/Cruz run if Trump completely shits the bed for the Republican race. I wouldn't be surprised to see other voices like Warren and Graham make an attempt only to realize that their actions during and after the 2016 election more or less disqualified them. Like I said, barring Trump doing really well his first four years elections going forward are going to be increasingly anti-establishment until both parties get elected sans-mandate and literally nobody respects the feds. We've been in an electorate cold war since at least the 1990's and I expect things are going to get worse if every elected reformer renegs on their agreement with the populace. If nothing substantial changes in Washington people are going to lose respect for the office over time.

oh man I'm in love with that glowing orb photo. it just makes me smile. he's just a big creepy kid sometimes.

I'm so glad she didn't put on the headgear too.

Let's give the "cuck" thing a rest.
Funfact: In spicland, they have a word for "cuck" that they've been using since ancient times "Cabron", same meaning as "cuck" and is still used today by spics and spaniards.
Using "cuck" or "cuckold" as an insult but fell into irrevelency around the time Early modern English became a thing, but since language evolves, we're seeing it as a better insult since it actually does it's job of insulting people, especially those who are henpecked and nagged by their girlfriend/wife.

More exchanges of interest from r/politics. If you even doubt the likelihood that Trump will be impeached, you are literally Russian propaganda.

I think I found just about the most pathetic thing I've ever read.
Hysterical weirdo dijo:
I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about this publicly. I was raped last July, the week of the Republican National Convention. As I learned what it was like to take on the new identity of “victim”, our country decided to nominate a confessed sexual predator for the highest office in the land. I walked around in a daze, like I’d just gotten punched in the gut, but the feeling didn’t fade. It didn’t help that I was on a strong regimen of drugs, including one called Truvada. It makes you feel like shit. No two ways about it, I felt like I had a mild flu for about a month. Last week, I learned that taking that drug qualifies as a pre-existing condition under current AHCA rules. So now, for the rest of my life, I will be unable to purchase affordable insurance. It’s a pretty hard blow to take. I’ve paid into the system faithfully for years and had, luckily, only manageable problems that didn’t require extensive treatment. Now, because of this one-off incident through no fault of my own, I’ll be thrown into a high-risk pool and offered plans that I couldn’t afford, even in my wildest dreams.

But that wasn’t what I was thinking about in July. I was thinking that I was going to get to see Hillary Clinton, finally, give the speech I’d been desperately wanting to hear for over a decade. I was sick, I was healing, I was in pain, but when she spoke, everything went away. I felt like she was speaking to me. Her opening statement was true to the kind of person Hillary is and always has been. “Tonight’s victory is not about one person,” she said. Accepting the highest honor in her career, and she knows it is not for her, it’s for the country. We’ve made a choice for inclusion and diversity and progress. “I hear you, I see you,” she said, very deliberately, during a more somber moment. That is how I felt. I felt seen. For the first time in any Presidential race, I felt heard. She sees our world, my world, filled with friends of all races, all gender identities, some immigrants, and some just struggling to get by. And her message is that we all belong, we all fit, we are going to build a more modern, tolerant, fairer country where you don’t have to be scared anymore. I hit the FEC max for candidate donations that night. I knocked on doors, I made phone calls. I spent a lot of time talking to my mother, a right-leaning independent, and we really talked. And she voted, proudly, for Hillary. That deep conversation, about what values really matter to us as a family and why Hillary is a representative of those values, has brought me closer to my mother and I thank Hillary for that. Her vote may not have changed the result, but it changed something big for me. Near the end, accepting the nomination, she said:

“To be great, we can’t be small. We have to be as big as the values that define America. And we are a big-hearted, fair-minded country. We teach our children that we are indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Not just for people who look a certain way or worship a certain way or love a certain way. For all. Indivisible.” (Hillary Clinton, Democratic National Convention)

The result was devastating, but the post-election has been even worse. Every day, we’re bombarded by stories about how it’s Hillary’s fault. Aggressive insults from the far-left, telling Clinton voters that they’re dumb, they’re “neoliberal shills”, that their issues and their reasons do not matter. Which is insane. We are the majority. There are more of us. And it’s time for them to hear it. We will not let them write us off as guaranteed votes without speaking to our issues. The Democratic Party needs to serve its base. And that base is female, they’re black, they’re Latino, they’re Asian, they’re gay and straight and trans and NB and whatever else they want to be. And we NEED identity politics. Identity politics are the difference between life and death for us. We need to feel welcomed, and safe, and know equality rights and trans rights and abortion rights, immigrants rights, a black person’s right to expect actual justice and not a death sentence just for existing…we need you to guarantee that these will be your guiding principles

You can chase the white working class voter. The alt-left cult can send me endless tweets calling me a neoliberal shill loser, or triggering memes (thanks for that, I do actually have severe anxiety disorder) or whatever, I’m sure that will happen. But I needed to write this. I needed to take this out of my head and put it on paper and hope and pray someone else connects with this and feels the way I felt. It’s just so depressingly sad for me to know so many passionate, energized Clinton voters who knocked on doors, who made phone calls, who volunteered, who donated whatever they could spare. And we don’t ask for attention. We, like our candidate, prefer to get the actual work done. So we’re a little less “clickbait” than the Bros antics or the relentless focus on Trump voters. But we’re here, and we exist, and you should talk about us. Our votes are not “in your pocket” if you keep signaling weaker positions on reproductive rights, fail to speak out adequately on issues like voter suppression and international issues like the extermination camps for gay people in Chechnya. Why can’t we get them out of there? This seems like a great time for one of Donald’s famous “deals”, but he won’t make one, because we don’t exist to him either.

So, here we are, invisible to everyone, and enduring the pain of the loss alone. Yes, I am still depressed. I have manic depression and social anxiety, and I have been on edge every day since November 9th. It feels awful. I’m trying to do work I love while living under constant threat. My heart races, my breath quickens, I feel like I swallowed a brick. And I walk on, through every day, wondering when anyone will care what has become of the passionate Hillary voter, now sentenced to an endless parade of older white men like Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders going out of their way to diminish what we all did, together. It hurts, it brings back those horrible, soul-crushing feelings that we all had on November 9th, and it makes me feel like I should be ashamed for treasuring my happy memory of hearing Hillary’s voice speak the words I so wanted to hear.

You can call her what you want. You can call us what you want. But we’re still here. We’re still with her. And we will move Onward Together.
