Yeah this has always been my problem with Trump. He has always been a wealthy liberal to me. Granted, one with good judicial picks, but still a liberal degenerate who is un-Christian.
 
I’ll respond properly later I am typing this on the toilet. But I don’t really care if he’s imperfect. After all, I am, you are, that guy is, that guy behind the tree, everyone is pretty bad.

That being said, it is a sorry state of America where he is seen as the most competent for the job. I would like to see someone like Patrick Henry as president. This guy was a firebrand who practiced what he preached and never held his tongue.

However, I do not believe Trump’s life mistakes have made make him unqualified or worthy of such massive scorn as you can see on social media. This goes back to the plank and the log parable, speaking of Christianity. We should focus on our own imperfections first, especially before comparing others.
 
People are getting tied up in knots about Trump's faith but the truth is that you and a politican are not going to see eye to eye on everything. He's a billionaire who's like five times divorced and probably had sex with a dozen porn stars across his lifetime, of course he's not going to believe in God.

I voted for him not because I liked him--I don't like anyone in Washington--but because I aligned with him on more things than I did with Harris. Politics isn't a team sport.

He also seems to actually have some kind of plan rather than simply "managing the decline" or continuing to push woke nonsense. I believe he will make groceries cheaper for everyone. If they are not cheaper by the end of his term, I pledge to give Hollywood Hulk Hogan 100 dollars in XMR. Mark this post.

Nobody is. When you see images of Trump candles or him depicted in some religious roll it's to get under the skin of liberals. And it works for some reason, don't know why it does, but the amount of seething it generates from them is great.

He has acted in a more moral manner than much of the Republican party in congress (figures like Romney or whatever). So we can at least say he's a more religious conservative than most of those that profess to be religious in any way.

Which is still irrelevant when it comes to politics as you'd have to be a retard to only want to support someone if you think they're more godly than you. They're not meant to be some priest leading you on the righteous path, they're politicians that are supposed to be allocating funds for things like road construction or arguing immigration/trade. You need them to act as religious figures as much as you need some fast food worker serving up your burger to.

Eh. I never have and I never will. His pandering to the evangelical base has always been one of my least favorite things about his campaign which I say as someone from a more traditional line church. I never liked the trump bibles, the people who see him as a modern day religious figure, etc. In fact if the alternative wasn't entirely and completely hellbent on destroying the country this would probably be disqualifying to me if it was any other election configuration.

However considering the alternatives its something I have to hold my nose and eat if it means the border is secure and troonery goes away and I can have my dollar allow me to have a family and home. I will never respect the left openly and brazenly endorsing troons and pedophiles more than donald trump playing up evangelical nonsense. The left is playing for keeps and if the alternative to the party of making me broke and raping and killing kids is pandering to a little american evangelical nuttery.... so be it.

To me, this shows that Trump is NOT for the religious right. You could argue that Trump sees himself as a holistic figure with his ego (and others DO, you're not incorrect.) But, he doesn't NEED to cater to religious zealots for his agenda of making America a prosperous country. That's what killed the Republican Party since the 90s, being the "no fun party" at the expense of forever wars, exorbitant spending, mass hysteria, and stagnation of the status quo.
 
I can't think of a single person that I even know who supported Trump for religious reasons. It was about the economy/immigration/making liberals assmad. The ONLY people I ever see assert that he's some kind of saintly or messianic figure are either boomers on facebook who get like 20 likes or left wingers trying to project that onto his supporters to make them look crazy.
