As somebody that is a regular Trump Enslavement Syndrome thread user, I have to say... This whole Kirk thing is just fucking weird to me. There has been no official report on what political ideology, religion or even motive for the murder was, and yet everybody has already made up their minds and is super duper certain who that killer exactly was, because their cousin's mother's brother's dog supposedly went to the same school as Robinson and that dog saw them masturbating to pictures of Fuentes and Marx. I mean for fucks sakes, there hasn't even been a court case for him yet, we aren't even certain if he's the real culprit. It's not like there already was an old man that was wrongly arrested and deemed a culprit. It's not like the government is known for deceiving the American public and tampering with evidence... Oh wait...
I'm already seeing conspiracy theories how Kirk was killed because he was starting to get critical of Israel so Mossad had to do it to him, or that Trump personally ordered him to be assassinated to cover up the Epstein story, it's... it's just a fucking mess. Everybody feels more certain and confident than ever before, yet finding honest, unbiased truth has never been more difficult. This is so much worse than a typical spat conflict between left and right. What if all of us are wrong? I feel like I'm witnessing truth and evidence becoming null and void concepts. Who needs law and order? Who needs standards and regulations? Who needs any of that when people make up their minds on major world events before they even happen and get to sit comfortably and be reassured on their little island of ideology of their choice? But of course... You're different... Right?
What's worse, it has exposed in my eyes how bloodthirsty people have gotten. I feel certain that there's gonna be a revenge assassination. I mean... Just four months ago, a democrat state representative and a senator were shot and killed in Minnesota. If this is gonna become the new norm like school shootings, the people are gonna get more vile and unforgiving with each subsequent killing. If it keeps escalating, fascist America may indeed become a reality, not out of some evil scheme to destroy liberty, but at the lack of any other option of stopping the country from destroying itself. Not based kind of fascism either, more like... North Korea, where the state is just one giant open air prison with no respect for privacy, to keep all of it's psychotic citizens in check.
It's such a massive shame that I've tried over the years to fight back against polarization by trying to be understanding, being charitable, interacting with people with all sorts of political beliefs and backgrounds and now it feels like that it hasn't made any difference... I can't stop human nature.
