My experience with mental degenerative disorders is largely second hand. I am not a Qualified Medical Professional, so take everything I am about to say with some salt.

Still, from personal experience, his decline is stupidly rapid. Within two years he went from being able to coherently string together sentences, articulate his points, and mentally hold his own... to someone who cannot remember basic social etiquette and has shown worrying signs of a lack of short term recall. Now, he has kept out of view so I lack the longterm, consistent view of personal experience so I am basing this off snippets which is... less than ideal. But if I have my speculation accurate, I don't expect him to mentally hold up TO the election.

My reasoning: While it is true that neurodegenerative diseases can take varying times, you generally expect the descent to full senility to take ~5-8 years. From clear, diagonisable symptoms to full need of outside aid for basic hygiene. Biden's case is... aggressive. The first clearly diagnosable signs shown publicly occurred after he announced his campaign. This was early 2019. It has now been a SINGLE year and he has now hit the area of short term recall loss in every single appearance he makes.

That is quite literally the stage before personal hygiene goes.

The man has taken just over a single year to do the work of what on average should have taken 4-6. Even if I am incredibly conservative and assume he had diagnosable symptoms a full year prior to signing on, that's still going at over twice the rate it should on average. And if I assume that rate, he'd be fully senile sometime mid 2021.

And people unironically want to elect this guy in order to pwn bad orange man. Also, the DNC unironically thought it would be a good idea to have this guy as a candidate for office (and he STILL beat the relatively mentally there opposition). What the actual fuck?
