Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

It's funny that both parties are kinda going through a purging of people who fail their purity tests. But for conservatives, they're mostly seeing the writing on the wall and leaving on their own. The Paul Ryans and Jeff Flakes and other NeverTrumpers and NeoCons. It's making the GOP a stronger and better party.

On the other hand, the liberals' purification is being conducted by force and is absolutely ripping the Democratic party apart.

To be fair, things to keep in mind:

1. Republicans tend to be better at keeping their rank and file in line; partly because Republican legislation goals tend to be more straight forward whereas the legislation goals of Democrats are far more ambitious in scope and as such, require a lot more cat wrangling.

2. The GOP, since Reagan, has basically boiled down their base to the point of mostly being the fanatics who, if given the chance, won't hesitate in bouncing a multi-term Republican legislator. That keeps a lot of RINOs in check. Democrats meanwhile, have a base so diverse that they routinely pull the "where are you going to go if you don't vote for us?" card to keep people in line and that often leads to Democrat voters either voting third party or replying "then I'm not going to vote and hope you'll get bounced out of office!". Which in turn makes Democrat incumbants more craven and willing to use any and all tricks they can to stay in office, by crushing all primary challenges.

3. Trump's ascension has seen a massive influx of new GOP voters. Especially young voters and minority voters, who are loyal to Trump first, GOP second. This creates a huge firewall, especially in the wake of the rise of the Tea Party and how it purged the vineyard of a ton of career GOP hacks. So they have to be loyal to Trump, especially since Trump has no problems calling out RINOs. Meanwhile, Democrats are bleeding voters when they were supposed to have reached a tipping point where they were supposed to have an unbeatable supermajority, which they bet the entire farm on and still in denial that it was all just a failed meme. Furthermore, their own attempts to bully their base into line has failed miserably and most definitely cost them the 2016 election; however, rather than listen to the moderates/normal people who are pissed off at the direction of the Democrats they are instead focusing only on the lunatic left because they have bet EVERYTHING on that "unbeatable supermajority" meme of minorities and women and gays/trans and can't back away from that strategy without losing face and admitting to fucking up and getting Trump elected as a result.

Recent head-to-head polling shows Biden besting Trump in hypothetical general election matchups.

Last I checked, Mr "1% of the vote" Booker was shown as besting trump in a hypothetical general election matchup.

Which makes me suspect that their theoretical model needs work. If you get the same results with every permutation of data you feed into the model, that's usually a sign of a problem, not validation.

Unless the DNC start rigging the primaries in favor of Biden, who, despite the first debate, sadly is the Dems’ best shot against Trump.

The worse part of this shitshow is seeing all the college millennials get in your face and telling you to vote Democrat and how white heterosexual men are the reason why the Republican Party is weak right now. Luckily, I just have to put up with them one more time this coming up semester.

Biden tried to blame his poor performance in the debates on Harris... saying that he wasn't prepared for her to argue with him. Like straight-up, that's what he said, he seriously did not expect her to actually go after his ass. (Which is interesting in that it implies Harris has gone off the DNC rails but nevermind that.)

And that's who they want to run against Trump. A guy who is not only reduced to a stuttering mess at the first sign of opposition, but thereafter uses admitting to being reduced to a stuttering mess at the first sign of opposition as his excuse. For all his bluster he's just admitted he's a pussy, and Trump would grab him so hard he'd gush all over the stage.

He’s sure struggling to stand out on his own after being in the shadows of his piece of shit president.

Jackasses like this are what makes me want to see not only Trump get reelected but for Ted Cruz to pull a Bush Sr. in 2024 and keep MAGA rolling for another 4 years.
I still feel like Cruz or whoever they put up in 2024 will be to Trump what Bush was to Reagan tbh :drink:

Joseph Biden announces his plan to take down Trump.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campai...trump-hes-the-bully-that-i-knew-my-whole-life

Former Vice President Joe Biden said in an interview that aired Friday on CNN that he was not afraid of facing President Trump in 2020, referring to Trump as the kind of "bully" he's been known to stand up to his entire life.
"He's the bully that I knew my whole life. He's the bully that I've always stood up to. He's the bully that used to make fun when I was a kid that I stutter, and I'd smack him in the mouth," Biden told CNN's Chris Cuomo on Thursday.
The 2020 Democratic frontrunner went on to suggest that he was looking forward to facing off with the president in a debate.

"I'm looking forward to this man. You walk behind me in the debate. Come here, man," he said, appearing to refer to Trump walking up closely behind 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton during the presidential debates.
Biden's comments on facing off with Trump are in line with his campaign's strategy so far of focusing on the goal of advancing to the general election in 2020, instead of getting into the fray in the crowded Democratic primary.

Trump himself has noted of the strategy, and has launched a series of attacks on Biden, referring to him repeatedly as "Sleepy Joe."
Recent head-to-head polling shows Biden besting Trump in hypothetical general election matchups.
However, the former vice president has been the subject of attacks from his primary opponents, most recently from Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who hit Biden on his record on federally mandated busing during last month's debates.
"I get all this information about other people's past and what they've done and not done. And, you know, I am just not going to go there," Biden told Cuomo. "If we keep doing that, that's, I mean, we should be debating what we do from here."
Oh No Biden, what are you doing? :stress:
You're starting to give me !Yeb! vibes here

Joe Biden is a ninny. He got less than 2 percent of the vote in 2008 and was out of the race before the first primary in '88. He was the vintage political system "tard insurance policy." "Yeah, you think I'm terrible? Get a load of this prick I just picked! If I get killed or thrown out of office, this tard is in charge, and nobody wants that, so at least play ball to a level where I don't get thrown out of office or killed."

I'd say he's at least even-money to "pass the torch" before Super Tuesday. One reason is a protracted Biden candidacy sucking up the black votes and vote totals means the math won't work out for a non-contested nomination process. The DNC rules ensure their convention is a fiasco if too many live option candidates getting 10+ percent of the vote are around.

Edit: He should have been prepared for Kamala Harris trying to put herself over at his expense with the "I'm not saying he's a racist, but he's a racist!" shit. I thought it was more likely she'd play pattycakes with him in the first debate, but she's a surly, mean-tempered bitch, former dirty prosecutor and current Hillary Clinton protege, so he should have been prepared for her getting nasty on race at his expense. It makes me believe the rumors that Biden's campaign told him to be prepared for Harris pulling dirty tricks, but he ignored it and didn't want to do debate prep. He's somewhere between the Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton so far. Bombing out front-runner and long-term political figure with the worst political instincts this side o' the Pecos.

Even Democrats tended to refer to him as "Obama's assassination insurance". I know they're trying super hard to invoke Obama Nostalgia in the voters but even with new programming it's hard for me to believe that they won't start remembering that he was the joke of that era, who lost a debate to Sarah Palin.

Jeb, no!

Israel's much touted Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, who ruled that country from its inception in 1948 until he resigned on June 16, 1963, was so enraged at John F. Kennedy for not allowing Israel to become a nuclear power that, Collins asserts, in his final days in office he commanded the Mossad to become involved in a plot to kill America's president.

WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK A "DEBATE" IS, JOE???

Republicans tend to be better at keeping their rank and file in line; partly because Republican legislation goals tend to be more straight forward whereas the legislation goals of Democrats are far more ambitious in scope and as such, require a lot more cat wrangling.
I think moreso it's Republicans better understand and respect the need for hierarchy, following orders and falling into line, as evidenced by our greater participation in organizations like the military and religion.

This creates a huge firewall, especially in the wake of the rise of the Tea Party and how it purged the vineyard of a ton of career GOP hacks.
People compare the Dems' current reckoning with the GOP's Tea Party movement, but for all its faults, it wasn't a disaster for the party. The GOP swung 60 House seats in the 2010 midterms and hed that advantage until last November. When Obama was inaugurated, he had a 60-40 advantage in the Senate. Those 10 seats were completely erased one Senate term later. At the state level, the GOP picked up 900 seats nationwide during Obama's caliphate. So all in all, it was a pretty positive thing for the party.

But the Dems' progressive movement? This will not end well for them.

Isn't it the state's job to fix Flint's water and not the federal level people?

The Democrat agenda for quite some time has involved supplanting the state with federal government.

The shoe is on the other foot so much these days that it's honestly fucking hilarious when you stop and think about it.

Is this just how it's going to be in America forever? Depending on whether we have a Democrat or Republican President either the left or the right will flip the fuck out and act like the world is ending? Everyone needs to calm the fuck down.

The Anti-Obama shit was never as severe as TDS. It was an outlier that was often over reported on by a dangerously biased media. It was never as widespread.

That bias is the reason TDS has spread as wildly and rooted so strongly:

In order for someone to get dosed up on Anti-Obama shit they needed to be a Faux devotee or find outlets with very small readerships. They had to find it.

In order for someone get get dosed up on TDS they need to exist and nothing more. They are bombarded by it daily from every direction. I don't even blame a lot of people for succumbing to it. Almost all media is saturated with Orange Man Bad. Go to the gym: CNN is playing on TVs. Go to a coffee shop: Newspapers with anti-Trump opeds sit by the counter. Turn on the radio and outside of a few conservative AM stations: Orange Man Bad in the news breaks. Most people don't have a chance. They'll never fact check stories or fact checkers for that matter. They for the most part don't read beyond the headline!

Trump bad.

Trump rapist.

Trump madman.

Trump mob boss.

Trump unfit.

Trump colluded.

Trump obstructed.

Repeat.

On a cycle 24/7/365.

He probably was expecting it to be a simple rigged game where he'd be the best looking one. This is evidenced by him having the longest amount of time out of the clown car (with Warren getting second due to the media shills loving her fake-native ass and shilling her over him because WAMAN).

Contrast to Tulsi who had 5 minutes, and Yang who they actually seem to have cut his mic at one point since he got 3.

"I insulted a man for wearing a red hat and his girlfriend poked my chest and no one sucked my dick for being so brave and virtuous so now I'm going to try and smear this business because I have no ability to admit that maybe I was wrong!"

Christ on crutches, TJ, next time just head to a restaurant that's more your style.
By a show of hands, who here is surprised that the Washington Compost wants to run a story on this? No one? Me neither.

I don't get it, soyboy here attacked a young couple out for dinner he's obviously the bad guy here, so much so that even other Twitter lefties are dunking on him. How could you possibly spin this into a story where he's the hero?

He thought they were all going to be good little Bernies and essentially back him up. Maybe start off the debate by announcing "They're sick and tired of hearing about his damn emails fondling!" He knows he's the DNC's choice, he knows all the rest of them have been informed of it, it's probably why he did zero prep other than answers for the questions he was given ahead of time. He was expecting a lovefest and didn't realize that some of these other fucks are so thirsty for power that they've disobeyed their marching orders.
