I don't know about the milk thing(I just assumed it was started by fucking morons because milk is white), but if I recall correctly, yes, yes 4chan basically invented the OK sign being a white supremacist symbol. They had this whole retarded operation idea and everything, there's a pic of the thread OP detailing it all somewhere.
