Especially funny when you see what actually passes through a ward: Brains fried with STDs from rape; homeless schizos, and when you do see an average "somewhat normal but clearly exposed to the internet" mid-20s girl, they bang their head into walls til bones show while eating cutlery to the point they need surgery. Shit, we've actually had some 'content creators' document their stay at psych wards with actual intent to get better and it's as mundane as you'd expect. Doomerisms, poor hygiene, lack of stimulation, and hoping only for a diagnosis so they can get the meds to live a somewhat normal life.
Though I will say, seen quite a few hello kitty slipper type of people. Women who'll drown in perfume but not shower. Glitter and all things pink yet intensely obese. A weird urge to want to be attractive but skip the shower and basic hygiene part of it. I guess the whole thing boils down to a typical "thug-ass nigga meeting an actual dopeslinging gangster". Everyones making light of Bipolar, Schizophrenia, ADHD, and all that, acting like its cool or quirky or a freaking social status thing.
Part of me is just glad they haven't clung onto faking OCD or turning that into the next trend. Or suffering from actual PTSD.
