Trish was streaming yesterday, updating Chibi's drake's reference to be more "canon" out of the goodness of her heart.
She posted the finished product on Blue Sky. Unlike when she updated Fenra's drake where all she did was recolor it, she actually redrew some features. Tree trunk legs, new ears, new tongue, new teeth. She also seems to have completely redrawn the head and changed the eyes to be less forward-facing.

The horn color swatch didn't get an update, even though the horns on the new ref are clearly more orange. I see she didn't care to update the stumpy foot-looking hand along the bottom detail, either.
I also got a glimpse of the file she has that holds all the copy-and-paste details for the drake reference sheets - hands, feet, tongues, genitals, etc.
You'd think with all the morphological changes she's done to her drakes' base designs as far as things like the legs, teeth, deletion of Northerns, apparent change in head morphology based on how she updated Chibi's ref, etc. she'd update this file. The discrepancy between the legs on Asura versus the "detail" legs lower on the sheet are not great, especially for a "brand new canon-compliant" reference.
Not a lot was going on in the chat, mostly Chibi and Trish chattering back and forth about their drake OC interactions, but there was this bit that I found interesting. It seems that Lunardian is tentatively back in Trish's circle. But she and Chibi still get to bitch about his relationship choices. I've noticed she'll refer to people by their real names when she is no longer on friendly terms with them, and that she's calling him Adrian and not Lunar has me feeling like there's still some bad blood there.
Since when has it been a rule that you're not allowed to get a drake if it's just to pair with someone else's? I don't see that here, or here, or here, or here, or anywhere else. This is actually the first time I've heard of such a rule. If it's a new rule, fine. But the claim that it "always was rule 1" is a lie.
And yet her several "inevitable furry breakups" didn't ever stop her from designing drakes for her boyfriend-of-the-week and then having to figure out what to do with them later. Bonus bitching about Crimson back when she was with her two boyfriends and they had drakes of their own. If the rule she stated previously was really true, why would she have even designed a drake for Exterio on Crimson's behalf in the first place? Especially with how Trish seemed to never like Exterio to begin with, based on all the drama in that Artists Beware post Crimson made.
Is she also implying that it's ultimately up to her which drakes are allowed to be bonded even in straight situations? We all know about the "no gay shit" rule of hers, and allegedly how rare it is for drakes to be bonded, but this is new that she was not allowing Crimson to have a bonded pair. She was begrudging but never seemed to outright say "no" in all their interactions over commission details.
Explicit mention of Eclipse in the "likes", the title name through FA's onion site being "ravensbf_drake_ref_sml", etc. So no, I don't believe that this rule was ever a thing.
I also recall there being some others that seemed to get drakes to pair with their main drake, but whether or not they were made on behalf of some irl partner I do not know.

Agreed, this is the first time she's ever mentioned this. It is a pattern of hers to lie and say "It's been X way forever" to try to virtue-signal herself, similar to the "I've been off of beef for 20+ years" instance.
And as for the "Now I have to deal with douchbags selling my drakes"..... this is a good reason why closed species are so laughable in the first place. You cannot control other people and their actions to THAT extent. If you don't want other people selling your species, here's an idea: DON'T sell it to them in the first place. Copyright laws are already extremely flimsy with "species" to begin with (unlike characters, which are trademarked, like Mickey Mouse for example. And even then said character has to meet a litany of criteria to be trademarked). So it's hilarious for her to get pissed off about people selling her oh-so-precious closed species when she's lifted concepts, ideas and artwork from countless other artists/games to create them in the first place.
And the "cheating" instance she is referring to with Raven/Crimson is when Crimson and her now ex-fiance were taking a break from their relationship. Exterio was abusive and Crimson was attempting to break away from him, so they were not technically together when this "cheating" instance happened with Trish's friend Val, a romantic interaction which Trish encouraged and even pushed onto Crimson. So again, she's twisting the truth to virtue-signal herself.
Also, what are you talking about?! Trish has NEVER made a character for her significant others specifically to pair it off with hers! Oh wait...

Also digging through the journals, the list of drake characters is maybe around 30? So either she was super slow or put way more time into other commissions, or they didn't actually fly off the shelves.

It used to be that she'd upload the more lore-heavy things under a "watchers only" feature, which was already tenuous for building back her fanbase, but I suppose that wasn't "stalker-proof" enough so now she expects people to cough up ten bucks minimum monthly to see anything. But even if you do pay that ten dollar fee, you don't get any of the lore. That's for people that pay twenty dollars a month, and only on her Patreon. Because even if you haven't paid for the subscription tier, that only bars you from seeing the image and not the description. You can really see the reach it's having by how all of these paywalled pieces have zero engagement and page views that never rise above 30 at best, and seem to average between 10 and 20.
So, yeah, really wondering how she's planning on becoming a #1 hairlizard lore seller if she keeps doing this without actually giving anyone a chance to get enough of a look to know if they'd be interested enough to throw money at her. She's so paranoid about people stealing her mediocre ideas that she's shutting out any possible new fans because they might be in league with "the stalkers".

I'm a bit of a sperg about intolerance and allergy being conflated as interchangeable.

Rika will bring her "gifts" and almost constantly is getting filthy.
In addition to the seal teeth and elephantitis legs that Stoat pointed out, there were a few more lol-worthy attempts at anatomy I spotted.

On the rest of the sheet, the hands have regular human hand anatomy, and she's never sperged about super unique alien hand anatomy before, so this is completely her being incapable of understanding how things work.
She's super proud of being able to "fix" the head-on angle "so quickly" when if you ask me... it doesn't look much better.
Maybe the mandibular molars look like they make more sense and the cheek fluff is a tiny bit more detailed, but that's about it. The incisors are still at the wrong angle on the maxilla, and the snout angle and the way the eyes sit doesn't match up with her previous rages about proper drake head shape. I don't have any idea what's going on with the tongue.
I guess trying to model off an actual komodo dragon/monitor is too hard for her.
Confirmed that True Love or whatever the fuck can bring back supposedly-incapable-of-rehab aberrant drakes from that point. But only True Straight Love and none of that platonic stuff like what Rika and Asura have. I guess.
idk, it just strikes me as ironic that in their drake world Trish's drake would be put down by anyone else but Chibi's drake kept her around, even though according to the ref there are no redeeming qualities about Rika and all she does is be a nuisance. Just like in real life.
Probably Chibi in relation to Trish's garbage takes on everything. There was even a tiny off-handed comment in the chat that Chibi had gone to the store to buy cat litter, which leads me to believe she has a cat. I wonder what she thinks about Trish's anti-cat stance, or how aware she is of how deep it goes.

Basically. TBH, she doesn't really understand skeletal structures at all, and it shows badly in her anatomy. If you've even seen her process videos or streams, she doesn't even start with a gesture drawing, fleshing out basic, geometric shapes and lines of motion to help her determine correct anatomy placement. She just fucking wings it and starts frankensteining everything together based on her anecdotes about basic anatomy. And when she does use reference photos, she doesn't really USE them, she traces over them instead of eye-balling them to draw her own image from scratch, which is why she's learned so little about anatomy over the years. She doesn't actually get how any of it WORKS, which studying muscle & bone structure, along with gesture drawings and lines of motion would help her with. That's why her anatomy is always a clusterfuck.
Basically her attempt to ”bond” has taught her bird to scream at her nonstop, and instead of starting to wean it off from attention, she encourages it while bitching about it. I don’t know how she survived with two dogs if she’s this oblivious.
