They're just dangerhairs. That's usually all it takes. The men might wear nail polish, the women might look a bit dykey, but that's about it. For every person who puts in effort to cultivate androgyny, there's 999 more who just dye their hair, put their pronouns in their bio and prepare to get angry at how dad the world just doesn't understand how unique they are.

They vary. A lot are normal looking women and men (with most being women) who are either thinking of gender as "no big deal lol" and don't mind going by other pronouns or "stealthing" it until they get to a position where they can look like the rest of the nonbinaries, androgynous but dangerhaired androgeny. Some put in the effort to look like neither, other are attention seekers or group conformist who are too afraid to look like anything else. Since there's no limits or unifying thing that makes someone nonbinary aside from "having they/them as POSSIBLE (not always the only) pronouns)" everyone joins in. Like the rest of the trans movement, they either think this is a good thing or are completely oblivious to this.
