Transformation looks okay for Lego. Still want those hands for other builds
Don't expect a Megatron tank as Lego has said in the past they'll never do that but I could see a Stealth jet or something similar.

I prefer this green but I can do without the ugly "brown" they used. I'll just mask off those areas and redo it with some Tamiya XF-10 and XF-49 should look good with those greens.

Diaclone Twintwist is up and we can see the completed box art and the “Wrecker hammer.”

It’s cardboard, the set of figures look nice together though.
 
I like how they did the box art for these. Would be nice if they could do more with the Mayhem Attack Squad though. Best we ever got was a bad combiner. It would give them a reason to release some of the pretenders even if they aren't pretenders.

The box art is nice, I’d kill for a poster of it. MOTU-style artwork really suites Transformers.

That Xaaron tease is cruel though, also Whirl is visible on the Twintwist portion.

People think it's Whirl but if you look at the image close up it's the wrong shape. It's closer to T30 Springer. Hopefully we'll get box art for the individual boxes soon.

I gotta say, of all the “Amazon waves” this one is a straight-up banger.

Impactor: Marvel inspiration is always a win and my Siege Impactor was a QC dud

Leadfoot: G2/Regen/Wrecker is a holy trifecta. Favourite of the wave

Springer: Cleaned up and Marvel/toy colours, win.

Bulkhead: Literally retail Bulkhead with a new accessory, reduced garish transparent blue, camo pattern and altogether closer resemblance to AOE Hound.

Diaclone Twintwist: Weakest of the wave but his colours are crisp and most importantly, bears an uncanny resemblance to Marvel Broadside. Those slabs on the arms really sell the comparison.

I don’t care about the Fossilizers.

Lego has done tanks before, it won't be an earth tank but some bullshit futuristic one. They did multiple tanks for Star Wars already.
 
I wasn't a fan of the hollow cockpit but that can easily be fixed with a pillar piece and you really only ever notice it at certain angles. It being more noticeable in "jet" mode doesn't bother me as I rarely ever have Transformers in their alt-modes.
