Why is always a retailer known for damaged goods/ not being able to ship products/ have products in the first place? Target and Walmart are terrible for this but because they have money Hasbro gives them what they want despite upsetting buyers.

Mark my words the cancelled items will eventually show up on nightmare scalper listings like that one helicopter technic lego set did that was also cancelled last second before release years before this became bizarrely common.

If we're lucky, it might end up a common figure on Aliexpress listings, like those Prime deluxe figures (that I think were a Toys R Us exclusive?) that had their release canceled due to poor sales circa 2013.
