Also agree fully. I'll be honest, I have some weird fascinations and fixations that would absolutely get some strange looks from people. But I know when something I'm doing is fucking weird or doesn't shine a great light on me. I also know that I, as a person, am more than those weird fascinations. I have an identity far beyond the scope of those things, so I don't feel an insecure compulsion to shoehorn them in to every second of my life in an attempt to garner validation. So, because I don't make it my entire identity, those who know about those parts of me can more easily accept (or ignore) them, and most people don't know in the first place. It's literally that simple, but shitlibs have no ability to think things through.
