Allow me to rephrase, "Without the cult I wouldn't know how to live my life". If you need the internet to find out that you've got these issues..... you don't got these issues.

I need to make myself clear... I'm not talking about someone whose got symptoms of something so they google it, do a lot of research into what it could be then decide that's what they've got, I'm talking about these faggots who would be normal people if not for the internet and running into the wrong people and not being strong enough or smart enough to tell them to fuck off and die.

puberty is a multi year long process. on top of that the human body doesn't 'stop maturing' upon reaching the ability to produce children. 16 year old boys do not look like 25 year old men. The literal problem with 'gender affirming care' with zero pushback is the fact that children don't know 'for sure' anything. Particularly in this day and age where we infantilize everyone with 'Everything is trauma' BS on top of living in a progressed society where the 'ills of nature' rarely befall the average person.

The only reason why children can 'question their gender' is their life is so profoundly easy they have no hardships to take up their minds so their brain invents hardships based around the reality they encounter...which newsflash...is being developed by Coomers obsessed with Disney in their late 40s. Not to mention the "social interactions" and algorithm advances that shape someone's world view based on their first couple web searches.

This is actually pathetic to be quite honest. She's either lying or actually delusional; there is no scientific literature quantifying desistance rates in current GD patients. The evidence of desistance is not really "flawed" or at least there is no reason to think it is. The "flaw" by the way, is that the DSM-IV and DSM-V use different criteria, thus activists claim that all the desistance cases were just GNC kids brought to clinics for some unexplained reason. There is 'on the ground' evidence that this is actually what happened or that the slight change in the DSM criteria had any meaningful practical implications.

That said, there is evidence that early onset (i.e. before puberty) cases that persist across puberty are much more likely to persist in a cross-sex identification. This makes sense, if cross-sex identification persists across a major life change (such as puberty) then it's likely to be stable across other life changes. There is nothing special about puberty per se, because 'gender identity' is just an ordinary belief, and gender related feelings are just ordinary feelings with the same mish-mash of idiosyncratic causes that produce any desire or distress.

There is also exists plenty of anecdotal, more difficult to quantify, evidence that desistance rates aren't all that low, but obviously that might not be all that convincing to someone who's peeling away from reality.

What ever happened to parents are their children's guardian and responsible for all decisions until they reach 18?

By troon logic, we should repeal child labour laws and kick kids out the family home at 13; after all, if you're mature enough to make life-altering decisions about your biology and start cutting shit off, you're clearly responsible enough to work a 9-5 and pay all your own bills, right?

Maybe that should be the criteria to qualify for titty skittles: First you need to find a job and prove you are capable of supporting yourself for at least 6 months. Hell, make it a month, because absolutely none of them will make it either way.

That's wild. So being gay or straight or whatever is an outside thing. It's not something innate at all. It can be influenced by the internet. If an outside source doesn't tell you, you don't naturally know. Such amazing news for highly conservative parents who don't want lesbian and gay kids. The kids obviously accidentally stumbled upon some homo shit online, so just expose them to aggressively straight content and your problem is solved. Amazing. Thank you troonadoons.

Looks like she's claiming that kids stop pretending to be the opposite sex once they start puberty. That would be a very good case against the use of puberty blockers.

She's confused about what her argument is because her argument is incoherent.
