The Wi Spa atrocity continues to be muddled even in this thread. It wasn't a "changing room", where you'd imagine women and girls would be exposed for just a few seconds and not necessarily fully nude. This was a no clothes allowed Korean Spa. Which makes it all the more disgusting for a pervert to entrude on a safe space where women are definitely going to be naked. I've been a logging this in my head for days now, I don't understand how anyone can possibly defend troons.

The Troon is wrong for intruding on this sort of space. The mother is wrong for both wanting to go to a no-clothes allowed spa and bringing children with her and exposing them. I have noticed this elsewhere to some extent as well: although the bullshit around the Wi Spa issue is of course mostly based on trans psychosis, it has also been worsened by the fact that a lot of Americans just can't imagine non-sexual nudity. People have in good faith been commenting 'why are kids in a naked spa, anyway?' as if getting changed around a bunch of women or having a spa with some nude Korean grannies is the same as having a semi-erect dick shoved in your face.

No it doesn't. If you're on a nude beach and there is some geriatric sitting on a towel reading a book 30 ft away from you, that is not sexual, even if they are of the opposite sex. A nude painting class is not sexual. Giving birth with a male doctor around is not sexual.

It takes an extreme mixture of lingering puritanism and porn poisoning to not be able to imagine any nudity of both sexes without immediately assuming that fucking must be part of the picture.

That said, all of the situations described above involve consensual nudity where no one's privacy is being violated so that someone can indulge their fetish, so this does not apply to the spa incident.

Muh Romans tho is not an argument when people have perfectly functioning bathrooms at home. There is no need to go out and be naked around complete strangers, except if briefly in a changing room.

You then go into some argument to absurdity where if I find unnecessary public nudity to be unnecessary and inappropriate that I think all examples of nudity or nudity of parents around children is wrong. The issue isn't nudity per se, or even children being nude around other women/their mother as would be normal in other circumstances. It's that the mother CHOSE this particular spa. A no clothes allowed spa. To take her children to. Perhaps I'm ignorant of some sort of service this spa offers which would be incapable of being delivered to clothed patrons but if there is no such service then the mother's behaviour was inappropriate. Being exposed to nudity is not some necessity in the course of childhood.
