Anime in particular is often animated on such a razor-thin budget that any extraneous detail gets cut out. So if you see male nipples in anime... well, you're 90% of the time either going with a deliberately overdetailed "bara" look, you're drawing a small kid (I think they have nipples drawn on for the sake of having some detail?), or those nipples are getting licked at some point.

Especially since with just about any transplant you have to keep taking drugs to keep your own body from rejecting the part. For the rest of your life.the bone marrow transplant argument really takes the cake

One of the few 'woke' youtubers i watch, Kurtis Conner, made a 'straight cringe' video, in which very indeed cringe heteronormative shit was mocked. Okay, justified. Then I went into the comments, and I swear not one-in-five had watched the video before going "LMAOOO STRAIGHTIES" etc, completely ignoring the point of the video.
Regardless, I saw at least 5 comments on the first page going "haha am goblin". I think it's some new way of going "you can't tell me I don't pass because I already said I was ugly haha can't hurt me!" the same way they used to say "I want to die" as if some premature self-defense to being told to go enjoy a noose.
Basically, goblin is the most recent funny-haha, and not remotely a sign of self-awareness as much as it is a bait for updoots.

Your body isn't rejecting your transplant. It's rejecting YOU.
This reminds of how some trannies want uterus transplants and ignore anyone saying that's an impossible and horrible idea.

Is the reason that GvHD happens that, when you receive something like a bone marrow transplant, your immune system is already fucked, so even small amounts of foreign cells kick your native cells' asses? That really is a terrifying thought.
More on topic, why is it that troons treat surgery as a sort of luxury? They say the surgeries they want are, to them, essential. But that isn't how they treat it. A person deciding whether or not they want to go through with having their penis surgically deconstructed is making a considerably less urgent decision than someone deciding to go through with, say, a kidney transplant. Why do these goons enjoy wasting everyone's time and resources?

One part of your body having XX chromosomes doesn't negate the rest of your body having XY chromosomes. 1% female still means 99% male.
So, if Dan would get GvHD with his hypothetical XX bone marrow, does it mean he's not trans enough?
I still have hopes the medical community retains at least a bit of their sanity and honor and that this will never happen.

bone marrow transplants are only done to people who are in a really fucked up state, like leukemia patients. before the transplant, you get hit with hardcore chemotherapy or radiation to kill off your own bone marrow (which is sick and malfunctioning) so the new bone marrow can grow in and work properly. this process basically nukes your immune system, then the new marrow (which is healthy and functional) comes in and starts pumping its own immune cells into your bloodstream (which is what it is supposed to do)
gvhd happens when the donated marrow and your own body are too genetically different. your own immune system was just killed, and the new one you got is so different that it thinks of your entire body as foreign, so it starts attacking literally everything
