The LGB has a well-organized well-funded and now fairly well-accepted by the mainstream system of organization; once they got marriage and general bourgeois acceptability they were a lot of aimless professional activist types who then latched onto the troons. The troons have some good funding of their own (Pritzger, etc.) but glomming on to the gays is what really propelled them into the mainstream. Hopefully the fags and dykes will realize that trannies aren't doing them any favors.

My thought is that if normies hear that LGB separated themselves from the T, they'd ask themselves why, and would come face-to-face with the reality of degeneracy that the trans movement has become.
Trans activists also like to pin their own creepiness on homosexuality, making memes about how "gay" it is for a man to want massive cow titties or whatever, so if it became clear that, no, that is not gay, homosexuality's recent foray into social acceptability will no longer impact troons by association. The longer the line between gay and trans stays murky, the longer the average person shrugs and figures trans activism is "people fighting to be accepted as themselves."

That's a bit simplified - the reason why T got onto the LGB was because in the past it was the self-hating gays who would transition - ie femme gay men and butch lesbians. Before the AGPs would just torment their wives in private by wearing their underwear so that was a bit whatever. Now the AGPs is in majority in the MtF community and it seems like the FtMs fetishising gay men are starting to (weirdly) gain ground.

Their current method of acceptance has been camouflaging themselves behind the LGBs. Last year when the study came out showing LGBT acceptance among young people was dropping, GLAAD noticeably in the report didn't show the figures for the different letters specifically, almost certainly because LGB support has never been higher, but troons are dragging that down.
Similar with that report from last year that showed how the troon lobby got their agenda made into law - in secret, and riding on the backs of protections for gays so it was more acceptable.
Gays are a minority, but a pretty accepted one in the western world now. As others have said, there's an established financial machine that developed to fight for rights in the west (aka for themselves) that was running low on battles. TRAs have taken this as their moment and demanded all these rights by virtue of the expanding alphabet soup of LGBT+++, arguing that it's all the same fight; it's why so many ostensibly alphabet groups and organisations have pretty much become all about troons, even though they're a very small percentage of the population.
Because the thing is, as the Farms shows - troon rights are not at all the same as gay rights, and when you separate them, it becomes very clear. Gay rights was, is, about equality and being able to marry and to not be illegal, love is love, etc. Troon rights, it turns out, is to be able to invade women's spaces and sports, deny science on a fundamental level to not hurt someone's feelings, and to make hurting someone's feelings a more serious crime than rape - if it's the right sort of person who is offended.
So troons benefit immensely from still being part of the alphabet as gay rights has become a mainstream concept. It makes LGBT and gay rights a motte and bailey, and provides them a cover of respectability to try and get some heinous shit made legal. There's a reason they hate the LGB Alliance in the UK - firstly, because they hate anything not focused on them, but also if gay people actively stop providing them cover the troons will be exposed to having their idea of rights judged solely on their own merits. And, rightfully so, you get people to really think about what they're asking for beyond general 'tolerance! Love is love! I just want to be who I am inside!' platitudes, support sinks like a stone.

This isn’t true. Feminine gay men and masculine lesbians aren’t trying to transition at all nor are they those things due to being self-hating. It’s no secret that whatever process leads to someone being homosexual also increases their odds of skewing toward preferences and mannerisms more common to the opposite sex. The TERFs aren’t right that stereotypically male and female things are 100% the result of cultural stereotypes, it’s clear that men as a collective and women as a collective tend to skew toward certain aesthetic and scent preferences, careers, etc, that differ. That’s why female Olympians and soccer players heavily skew toward being lesbians, for example. There’s always overlap, we just see more overlap among homosexuals.
Trans of old school LGBT was not the trans of today and most people don’t get that. They were the gays who skewed so far down the spectrum in terms of mannerisms and preferences that in the past, it was easier to just present as the opposite sex because it was easier for the general public to wrap their minds around them. They were never under the belief they were the opposite sex nor did they want to be the opposite sex. Actual transsexuals were even more rare and were limited to people who had legit body dysmorphia issues in the same realm as anorexics and those weirdos who gouge their eyes out and saw their legs off (eg, modern truscum). Plus you could toss in the straight crossdressing fetishists who kept that shit private and were their own thing.
Modern transgender movement is totally different. It misunderstood what old school trans even was and conducted a hostile takeover of the gay movement. They, as narcissists tend to do, totally rewrote history to give themselves and air of authenticity they never possessed. For example, even their paragon Marsha Johnson was just a cross dresser and even referred to himself as a ‘boy‘ and yet video proof still isnt enough for them to modify their dogma.
The modern movement decoupled trans from the physical by claiming it’s about subjective ‘gender’ (even though they’re still obsessing with physically transitioning) in a bid to muddy the waters. Now trans can be anything because even trans itself doesn’t have to be rooted in the physical. That was the fatal issue that opened the door to grifters and people with serious personality disorders and sexual fetishes. These people aren’t limited to identity politics, it’s also why we see them overwhelmingly in the polyamory community — they’re parasites that gravitate to wherever they can get their fix.
The trans community offers them something that other communities can’t, though, and its social power to punch down while simultaneously rolling around like a soccer player pretending to be hurt after someone taps them. Straight progressives, in their effort to not repeat the whole anti-gay times of yore, tripped over themselves to misunderstand modern trans as “basically gay” and to validate them without critical thought. Grifters and cluster Bs fucking love this power, attention, and mindless loyalty.
Add in a perfect storm of factors: the rapid rise of social media to connect them together, teenagers choosing ‘queer’ as their trend of choice, a sudden spike in gay acceptance, and a few other things, and it all came together when a final element was added in: money. Lots of sane but morally bankrupt people are more than happy to feed and even grow the modern trans movement because it enriches them. Just look up how much certain endocrinologists make from speaking engagements alone and you’ll see why they’re suddenly willing to say bullshit like ‘chromosomes don’t reveal sex.’
Now people are in a pickle and the only way out is to let it run its course and let a generation suffer the consequences that can’t be kept under wraps. The general public is fickle and will stop supporting this thing the moment it loses them social credit. The trend is doomed to die out now that more teens identify as queer than not. And when it’s all over, we’ll be able to look back and see clearly that money was the sustaining factor that kept this entire shitshow alive beyond it’s natural lifespan.
